VILLAVERDE's Centre for Ecotourism and Environmental Education HOSTEL is located in an exceptional setting on the slopes of Peña Prieta, between the Cantabrian Mountains and Picos de Europa National Park. Surrounded by deciduous forests, where the large Iberian vertebrates such as the bear, the wolf and the golden eagle still live, it is 800 meters above sea level and just 12 km from Potes, the capital of Liébana. Due to location and scenery, it is perfect to enjoy nature as a family.

We are in the beautiful and very little known Soba Valley, 1 hour from Bilbao and Santander and 30 minutes from the beach, but with all the tranquility of an authentic rural setting. We serve breakfast and dinner for guests upon reservation. Dogs are allowed ON REQUEST (due to allergy issues they are not allowed in all rooms) and with a supplement of €7/night.
