John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

such cozy place to stay in and perfect location to be. only about 5 min walk to the main strip. lots of food and stores near by! also only about 50 min hike from the place up to the summit of Mount Maunganui

Melanie is an awesome host, the home was perfect for our family of six. Beautiful area and gardens, home is immaculately presented. Shower water pressure is great! Melanie accommodated our request for a later checkout which was so appreciated. Highly recommended place to stay.

Our stay in Jo's place was a little special because we arrived during the lockdown. After more than 5 airbnb hosts canceled or declined our reservatin because we had to do our self-isolation, Jo and her family were the only one who took us in, and for that we are incredibly greatfull. This place is really a full equipped appartment within a big house, with a beautifull garden, a park right next to the house, a beautifull beach 3 minutes walking and a big supermarket 10 minutes walking. You will be in a perfect location, have your own privacy and feel like in home.

The apartment was very clean and in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood. We enjoyed our stay and would happily book again

Highly recommend this airbnb. The location was perfect being close to the beach the Mt and restaurants. Being dog friendly was great as well. We would stay again!

Debbie was super friendly and really helpful. Even though we arrived late, she still came out to welcome us, which was so nice. Her place is warm, cozy, and super clean. We especially loved the bathroom – the design was beautiful! The beach is just a quick 4-minute walk, and Mount Maunganui is only about 10-15 minutes away by car. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

This is a very magical place- you have your own privacy, but with access to a lovely hot tub and the surrounding views are stunning. It was really rainy during my stay but I still had enough to do in that relaxing in the hot tub, and a visit to hobbiton were perfect. Highly recommend. Also the WiFi is fast for streaming and work.

As others have said there wasn’t anything missing from this perfectly presented B&B. Divine baking & preserves set this apart from others. The farm view with beach across the road and interesting art pieces was also quite unique. Much care & attention has been lavished on this property & we got to sit back & enjoy it. Thank you

To say Kim's place is great, is a complete understatement. I thought I was staying in a 5 Star Resort! Massive attention to detail and small touches really set Kim's place apart from everywhere else - the fruit preserves, pillow library, excellent bathroom and loads of personal touches. I was actually a little bit sad to leave and return to normal life. A super rare diamond in Tauranga, I will definitely be back, that's for sure.

Annette’s place is easy to find and only an 18-minute drive to Tauranga City. There are plenty of options nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the supermarket is within walking distance. The house looks exactly like the pictures—I wish I could’ve stayed longer! It’s spotless, the view is breathtaking, and I would love to stay there again someday. Annette and her husband are so friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Dawns place was amazing. We had a long stay, my boyfriend and I, and we don’t have any complaints! It felt just like home, it had everything we needed and the studio was extra cozy. Paul and Dawn were extremely helpful during all our stay, and gave us great recommendations for local activities and things to do. We recommend 100%!

Comfortable spot with everything you need available at the house. Close to the beach, cafes, pubs and shopping centres, so can avoid getting in the car all the time. Thanks Val ☺️

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

Nothing could have been better for our stay. Lesney was so helpful and friendly. The accommodation was perfect, everything you could need and a few extras. We had beautiful weather but very cold nights and mornings and we couldn't have been more cosy in our area of the house. A lovely hot spa helped as well. Looking forward to the next time we can go down to Papamoa and will definitely want to stay at Lesney and Alan's again

We loved our stay at Ken and Myra’s place! Was lovely, warm and felt right at home. Perfect location, with a short walk to the beach. Host was very easy to deal with and very friendly. Would definitely love to come back and stay.
