Family-friendly vacation rentals in Westerholt

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozily furnished house with plenty of space. A relief was the garden: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

This place is amazing! We had the best friends weekend. The house and garden are beautiful and has everything you need. There were also games at the house. Pasja always responded really quick and helped, when we had a question. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The perfect stay if you want to enjoy a break in the great outdoors. Pia is a very nice landlady and is always available for questions.

We had a wonderful break in the countryside and enjoyed the tranquility and nature to the fullest. Pia and her husband were extremely warm and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house was very clean and tidy, and we felt incredibly comfortable from the start. Everything was perfectly prepared and we can absolutely recommend this place. We booked the entire place for a family meeting / event with 13 people and felt completely comfortable. We quickly agreed on the division of the sleeping places/rooms and during the stay it was always possible to find your own private retreat in the spacious garden or in one of the apartments. We particularly liked the large, bright 'common room' on the upper floor of the old schoolhouse, where we could all prepare meals together and then eat together at a long table. The room is really very nice. Thank you to Pia, we will be happy to come back in one or the other constellation!

Marlies is a wonderful host! As a cyclist, I was particularly pleased with the safe parking for my bike overnight. After a long day, I was able to relax wonderfully on the cozy couch next to the fireplace – a really pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is top equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was very clean and lovingly prepared. Overall a great place to stay where you feel right at home. I'd love to come back!

Kitty and Erik's place was great, and very helpful. Thank you. The house had lots of amentities and we felt at home. Plenty of space and the back garden was useful, as Kitty and Erik allowed us to store our bikes there. The house was well situated in Groningen as it was a walk away from centre, and plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Nice. Groningen was a great city, plenty to do and fabulous area for cycling.

Great cozy and clean accommodation in the heart of Greetsil, also very good with children. Owners were very accommodating and set up a crib, for example.

Beautiful apartment in a great location, we felt very comfortable :-) everything you need is available, great shower, bathroom with plenty of storage space, everything super clean! Have a great vacation!

Lydia and her husband are extremely accommodating and very nice. If you like to stay a little simpler and have your own little terrain away from the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful address! In addition, the accommodation (converted construction trailer) is already something special. Groningen itself has everything to offer and is always worth a trip. We will always be happy to inquire whether the accommodation is available.

I stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a nice weekend escape in the nature: best choice we could make! The hosts are super friendly and made us feel at home since the very first moment. The little house has everything you need, and more, to make it a very special place: the fireplace and the cd player with audio system were the highlights! We also enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommended!!

Katharina’s apartment is cozy, comfortable, and has all the essentials you need including cooking, ironing, shopping, and the list goes on. The bed is very comfy and we slept very well 😊. The city Centre is just 8-10 mins walking distance away with lot of cafes and restaurants- we went to city almost every day. It is also very close to Oldenburg’s attractions such as St. Lamberti’s Church, museum, Schlosshöfe shopping mall, and botanical gardens. The bus and train stations are within 15-20 mins walking distance. We stayed here for a month and we felt very homely. Katharina is a lovely host, fast to respond, and very helpful. Her collection of items tells a lot about her excellent attention to detail. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Annemarie's cottage is large, beautiful, clean and well appointed. The photos and info in the description exactly match the actual listing. Annemarie is always available and very knowledgeable. The property is very secluded and quiet. Particularly noteworthy is the very good value for money and the excellent cancellation policy (in case something goes wrong). We will definitely visit this place again as soon as there is another North Sea trip.

Annemarie's place was great. Especially the large garden with swings and freshly prepared pool for us was great! The layout of the rooms is not quite clear in the description and the pictures, downstairs is 1 bedroom, upstairs is 2 (1 with 3 sleeping places). The 4th bedroom is in a separate apartment next door. This is especially important to know on vacation with children. The nature around the place is beautiful and you can walk great on the dike. However, you can only get to the sea/mudflats and fish rolls in the burhave 7 km away:) For this, it is wonderfully quiet and not so touristy at Annemarie's place. Absolutely recommended!

Highly recommended, nice agency, great value for money, ideally suited for people who are not well on foot, with the e-mobile up to the terrace.

We had a great time and couldn't believe our luck to spend the night on a ship in the middle of Groningen. Warmest recommendation!

We were very warmly welcomed and the apartment was as described. The garden is beautiful and very idyllic. Unfortunately, despite the great weather, we didn't have time for the pool. Next time...

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to join our group weekend at the end, but my friends were consistently enthusiastic about the place and the hostess. In addition, a super nice and easy communication with Annemarie before the weekend and many tips! Would have been more than happy to:)
