Absolutely amazing hosts, so attentive with great recommendations and so helpful. Was able to check in earlier and check out later as hosts were aware of ferry times. Quick response times, the MOST amazing views from accommodation overlooking Scalloway. Could not have ask for a better stay in this beautiful home with fantastic hosts. Always available to ask for suggestions and recommendations, went above and beyond for us during our stay and will definitely be returning. We enjoyed our five night stay at Home in Quarff, and can heartily recommend you stay here! Very well presented accommodation fitted out to an excellent standard, with full amenities inside. The three bedrooms are upstairs: fresh, spacious with comfortable beds. The ground floor bathroom has both a walk in shower and separate bath, with plenty of hot water available. A comfortable living room is separated from the kitchen / diner. The TV uses a fire TV stick to access a range of services. The kitchen / dinner is fully equipped. The garden provides a wonderful view of the bay to the east. This is a perfect location to explore Shetland or simply to be a home from home while you work.

We received a very warm welcome from Gordon and Heather as we visited their Hillside Studio for the second time. The accomodation looks and feels brand new, it’s attractive and spotless, providing everything we needed for a comfortable eleven day stay in Shetland. The studio is ideally situated for access all over Shetland, a great central base for exploring what the island has to offer. It is peacefully situated on a Hillside community of similar properties, with fantastic views and only five minutes from all the facilities of Lerwick. Notwithstanding the new feel that the studio already exudes, Gordon strives to make improvements which will benefit future guests. It’s a great place to stay and we plan to book again for a future holiday!
