Tiny house vacation rentals in West Virginia

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

We loved our stay at the Red Roost! The boys loved the coop. We enjoyed being close to the city but also in the woods. My 8 year old loved all of the different lofts to sleep/play in. This home had all of the little things, forget your backpack for hiking (check), a bin of flashlights (checks), books for reading (check), walking sticks (check). Would love to visit this home again.

Rich & Brittany we’re great hosts! Very responsive and helped with any issues instantly. The house was clean and as described. Very peaceful scenery, lots of deer roaming and pretty wildlife. Super pretty drive from NOVA as well!! Would definitely stay again. The hot tub topped off the trip and was perfect for two people!

This gorgeous, whimsical little cottage is perfect for someone looking for a cute little getaway. It is located about a mile from I-77 and far away enough to still feel secluded. The animals are so sweet and I made friends with the chicken, Chicken Little. The zucchini bread was such a nice little touch and made us feel so at home. I cannot recommend this little getaway enough!

This is a gorgeous little camp site, very quiet and the cabins and sites are well spaced for privacy. The property is so beautiful! I enjoyed swimming in the stream and appreciated Sarah's recommendation for where to find deeper water. I got no service at my cabin (which is exactly what I was looking for with this trip!) and it was nice that they have WiFi at the main lodge to get messages. I would definitely go back when I need an escape.

My husband and I almost didn’t pick this place due to it being 40 minutes from where we wanted to do our hiking, but I made the decision to stay and was so glad I did! It far exceeded our expectations, and was, hands down, the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed at! It was so relaxing and peaceful that I didn’t even feel like leaving each morning to do our adventures! I can’t wait to go bank with my cousin in a couple of months! (Met up with the hosts for a cocktail and they were so nice!!!). Thanks for everything!

Great location with restaurants withing walking distance. My car was being worked on in a local shop, so this was ideal. The accommodations were just what I needed for a place to sleep and feel comfortable for a night. Shawn was quick to respond when I had questions about the area and check out time.

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

We had a great stay at this cabin in West Virginia. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and private—perfect for unplugging and enjoying nature. Whether you’re sitting by the fire pit, enjoying your morning coffee on the porch, or exploring nearby trails, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet escape. We’d definitely come back!

Adorable, clean, thoughtful, this studio was perfect!! We visited Antietam for a couple days and this spot was so cozy and relaxing for us. Our favorite was drinking coffee next to the babbling creek - doesn’t get much better than that! We loved getting to chat with Heather on her beautiful property. Thank you!!!

This is a great little cottage in the perfect location. Cozy, clean, and they have the friendliest cat. Very quick and easy to get to the town area, Martinsburg, Sharpsburg, and Harpers Ferry from here. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a place near any of those areas.

Our stay was wonderful everything we needed was provided. The cottage was extremely clean and very cozy and beautifully furnished. The area is beautiful and Kelly and Chet provided us with plenty of ideas for activities and fun things to do. Kelly and Chet truly do define the term southern hospitality. I will recommend this stay to friends and family.

If you’re like us and prefer the privacy of a country getaway nearby to the amenities of a charming small town, then this is your place in the beautiful Lewisburg, WV area. A cozy and eclectic cabin filled with curiosities on a picturesque pastoral farm, the Mill House was the perfect location for our long holiday weekend. Whether swinging on the front porch or relaxing in bed, we enjoyed beautiful views of the rolling hills, curious cows, and farmers doing what farmers do. Lewisburg is only minutes away and easy to get to and from. Melissa and the rest of the welcoming party were delightful, informative and available throughout our stay. We will definitely be back and just hope that you’re not booking now for the same weekend!

We were very happy with this property. Its in a great location, lots of activites, hiking trails and river close by. Walkable to convince store, bars and restaurants. Unit was clean, well stocked and was just as the pictures online looked. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Fantastic stay with a fantastic host who goes over and above what's expected. Beautiful farm setting which beats a hotel along the highway. When we come back to Morgantown, we'll absolutely stay here again! 5-stars all the way.

Great place to stay if you are in the new river gorge area. the host is very helpfull with direction and with any questions you might have.

A quirky and fun experience. James home gives you an updated kitchen and bathroom with a quaint old house feel. The beds are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the short walk to town. The driveway was steep and we appreciated the ability to park in the lower spot also available. The little details like a HDMI in a basket and all the cleaning supplies was great. Having three small bedrooms for our group at this price was perfect.

This was our second time at Rachelle’s cabin (with hopefully more stays in the future.) The cabin is nestled in a beautiful valley right on the river and the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of NoVa. It was unseasonably chilly and rainy but the cabin was warm and cozy and offered a great way to decompress and relax. We weren’t able to fish or wade in the river this year but had a great time playing cards, watching movies, and cooking on the gas grill right outside of our little cabin. Rachelle has impeccable taste and decorated in a way to offer an elegant atmosphere with little details which were not lost on us. The kitchen is fully functional with cookware & is stocked with snacks, tea, and coffee and the toiletries are a nice touch in case you forget your toothbrush, hairdryer or shampoo, etc. A really great spot for couples & families alike. We cant wait to be back! Highly recommend the Farmer’s Daughter butcher (just a few miles away) for a delicious burger & veggies!
