Everything went very well in this place which is a great value for money! Fahmi did everything to make our stay enjoyable, we had a problem with the toilet and he came the same evening to fix it, he is very nice and is committed to doing us a favor. The location is great with good restaurants, the beach and snorkeling spots nearby.

My partner and I stayed at one of Devi's bungalows for 10 days - much longer than most on Gili Meno! The place was pretty much as described, nice to have a shared kitchen and lounge area which we made some use of. Communication with Devi was very easy, as well as with Septian, the housekeeper there - he helped us with bike rentals, boat information and other stuff when we messaged him! There are loads of options for food etc nearby, the island is so small you can get around in no time! I'd recommend going to eat at some of the smaller warungs in the center of the island from time to time, rather than the big commercial-type ones on the beachfront (which are great of course, but you don't get as much of an authentic experience). The island suffered from an earthquake in 2018 and then covid lockdowns, and now having issues with clean water. Chatting to the small business owners, you could see how much giving them our business meant to them, after coming out of a very rough few years.

The best stay in Sembalun, and the price for the house is awesome. Maybe a bit noisy in the night, but Khairul was very responsive and answered fast.
A well-maintained pathway leads to two wooden structures with inviting porches. Lush greenery and flowering plants are situated beside the stone walkway. A clear blue sky with scattered clouds enhances the serene outdoor environment. A vehicle is parked along the side of the road.

We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect! beautiful view, clean room and wonderful service. They provided us with food (even according to our vegan diet) and we also got to eat local dishes with them. We felt really welcomed. They also provided us with a local guide tour to the waterfalls which was very special. You can also rent a scooter for little money at the accommodation. Definite recommendation if you want to stay in beautiful nature with a local feeling :)

Gili Meno is definitely worth a visit and Nathalie's bungalow is an experience in the experience. We spent two beautiful days there with our 5 months old daughter and had a great time. The bungalow is beautiful, simple and comfortable. Mama Smah and also the people from the nearby village were welcoming and helped us get the best out of our short time to spend in this corner of paradise.
