“There is not one bad thing I could say about Storybook. The accommodations were fantastic. Check in / Check out was seamless. The decor of the place was very well thought out. Plenty of “nice touches” like the welcome basket, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner available for use if needed. There were pamphlets describing things to do should someone decide not to just enjoy the peace and serenity of Storybook. One of the things we loved was walking in to the radio on, just creating an inviting atmosphere. That radio station is playing on Iheart radio right now as I write this (Radio Woodstock). Another thing we loved was the fireplace which just created a more peaceful and cozy atmosphere. When we pulled in we met Gene whom was so friendly and offered to help with anything we needed. Linda provided a Booklet of basically everything around also, which was very informative and thoughtful. Storybook was my wife’s first time staying at an AirBnb and this place provided the perfect experience . We both said to each other that we would not hesitate to return here and would recommend this place to anyone.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at Janine’s amazing cottage! It is a truly lovely place in a quiet and beautiful location that is conveniently close to the town. The surrounding trees and property gave us a sense of peace and privacy, and the space was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We were sad to leave and hope to return one day!”
Discover a mix of modernity and history in this re-imagined barn built in the 1870s. The home features original architectural beams and exposed brick, a cozy fireplace, a back porch, wood finishes, a vibrant use of color, and a BBQ.
“This farmhouse is so cozy and comfortable and in a great location! We loved our week in the country and the house was stocked with anything we could have needed for our stay. Zack was communicative and helpful before and during the stay and has really made the house feel like a cozy special getaway. You are just a few minute drive away from downtown Woodstock with great shops and places to eat and close to Saugerties which was a nice way to spend a day. A few things to be aware of: the shower pressure was low, to be expected from an old home. We visited in feb so of course it was cold outside and hard to keep the main floor warm, even with the various heaters, main system and a fire.”
