This place was the perfect little get away. We’re from Ontario and needed to go to the east coast for a family event. Unfortunately our dog played too hard with their duvet but the hosts were super understanding! Couldn’t recommend this place more

Overall, Excellent place! I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the little touches, from the comfy bed to the well-stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing stay at the Sunnyside Lake House! It was the perfect getaway for our group of five (my spouse, a few friends, and me). The property is beautifully private, right on the lake, and came with everything we could ask for—from a relaxing hot tub to a fully stocked kitchen and other thoughtful amenities. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like a true retreat. No issues at all during our stay. We’d absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to return!

We stayed one night and it was not long enough. Jacquelyn’s home is beautiful and functional. It had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. It was one of the most well equipped home’s we have stayed in. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets and throws if needed. We also own a rental property and we were getting ideas to add to our home. The outside area was beautiful offering a fire pit as well as a jacuzzi. We definitely recommend this home.

What a wonderful stay we had at the lake house! Coming from the US where the weather is already 95F, it was a fantastic way to beat the heat and spend time with family. Such a great location on the lake with peace and quiet (we live in large cities). The lake house itself is beautiful! Amazing glass windows give everyone the lovely views of Nova Scotia. The home is modern, spacious, and accommodated us all. Jolena is amazing! She’s responsive, friendly, and all around a lovely human being. We will be back!!

We had such a wonderful family gathering at the lake house. It is such a cozy cottage and guesthouse with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We've stayed at Airbnb's before, but this one supplied above and beyond our expectations. 13 of us were comfortably accommodated, with an extra mattress and blankets supplied for an additional bed for our youngest child. The kids had a blast with the lake right there and had such fun with the kayak and pedal-boat. There was even a little kids' table and chairs for them inside with colouring books and such thoughtfully supplied. Andrew was quick to respond to any questions and really made our stay an enjoyable one. If you want an absolutely beautiful peaceful place to stay with reasonable distance to some amazing sightseeing destinations, this is the place to choose!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Great communication great service. We were there longer than most, but it was a very comfortable cottage.

Lovely spot, weather was hot so the cool breeze from the lake was very welcoming. Lots of thought has gone into providing all the comforts of home. Lots of board games , cards etc and selection of kids toys and drawing materials . Extra thoughtful touches , a welcoming bottle of wine , coffee pods, condiments etc Having the use of kayaks was great and life jackets also provided . A very calm relaxing feel to the cottage , we loved it!

Everything was wonderful at this cottage and guest house that accommodates 8 people! Despite the rain on the weekend we selected, we had a beautiful family getaway. Alex and family have a beautiful spot on a quiet lake. The cottage is open and fresh! They provide a fire pit with wood, games, toys, canoes, etc. but all we really needed was the space to gather and the gorgeous lake view and access. Alex provided excellent instructions and was very friendly and accommodating. We are truly grateful to have been able to enjoy such a lovely place!

The lake house is in a beautiful, private and scenic location. Fabulous views from both the deck and inside the house onto the lake. The private location arises from the distance from any other properties and requires access down a series of gravel roads. After a few times, the way to the cabin was easier to navigate. If you are looking for a location in immediate proximity to Wolfville or amenities, this is not. However, it is perfect for a quiet getaway and is close to vineyards. GPS will get you where you want to go in the surrounding area. This property is located in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia and was a perfect spot from which to take day trips and visit local vineyards. The house was clean, nicely furnished, can accommodate a family or a few couples very easily. The TV had an excellent selection of steaming services for movies when then sun went down. We enjoyed our stay. Luke was very responsive to our inquiries. Perfect spot to unplug and unwind in nature.

I can summarize our experience in two words: absolutely fantastic! Every amenity you could need was there, the cabin was clean and tidy, and our host was excellent to deal with. Brendan was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed him. A great experience and we will definitely be back!

We had an excellent time at Birchwood. The cabin is cozy and clean and the property is well maintained. The location is incredible, right on a beautiful lake with lots of privacy. The owners are friendly and accomodating. Can't recommend enough.

We had a great stay, perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Check-in was easy and all the info we needed was provided, the actual cabin had a nice covered in deck with chairs and a BBQ, inside there was lots of cups, plates and cookware provided; even some board games on top of the fridge worth checking out, along with kids books & adult books too, lots of extra blankets and a beautiful propane fireplace (and heat pump! + eclectic heat) so no worries of being cold haha. There's a nice park across the street from the Airbnb that'd be perfect for a summer picnic, plus a campfire spot with chairs next to the Airbnb, overall a nice spot and well kept.

Sara’s place was wonderful. Everything you could think off was supplied even an air fryer. The guest binder was very informative. The pictures were very accurate. Beautiful environment. Comfortable beds. The ability to watch a movie in the hot tub was awesome while behind a screen to hide from mosquitos. The water and kayaks were a short walk from the cabin. A lovely beer and winery and two ski hills were thirty minutes a way. The store close by had liquor, icecream, take out, frozen meats, and everything else that you may need. Absolutely, beautiful and private. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Sarah.

Sweet cottage on a scenic river. Minutes from beautiful Wolfville. Easy to find and although close to the road, fencing made the patio and hot tub private. This space was cozy and comfortable for the three of us. We toured around a lot as it was Apple Blossom Festival. Lots of wineries, plenty of restaurants and gorgeous views. And we saw eagles in the sky, right above the cottage. Great site for bird watchers. Enjoyed our stay, Janet

Great spot! Everything was as described. Despite the rain we had a lovely weekend relaxing!

Wonderful place to relax and watch the Fundy tides without crowds and the need to time trips to fully experience both low and high tides. The cottage is comfortable and easy to get to, close to town and a grocery store. Spent 2 nights there with our small dogs and we had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay!
