Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Dover

The house is private and in a beautiful spot literally on the bank of the Deerfield River. At the same time, it’s on Route 100 with convenient access to local restaurants and access to several routes to explore the region. The home is well-appointed, cozy, and comfortable. Really can’t recommend it enough. I’m already trying to figure out when we can get up there again. We had objectively lousy weather for our visit but the house was so pleasant we truly did not care.

5 stars all around! The view and the setting are magical. The house is brilliantly appointed and designed. What a dream to stay in this house!! We want to come back for a stay in every season to experience it again and again! The interior is extremely cozy while being beautiful at the same time. We stayed for a weekend at Kelley and Jason’s home in Vermont and everything went great. From check in, to the local recommendations, to the quiet setting, we enjoyed a great time away. Hot tub, game room and the large deck were great.

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

What an amazing place! We were struck by its charm the moment we arrived. Everything was so well appointed and beautiful. We just wish we could have stayed longer and explored Bennington more! We came for a Williams College graduation and so the weekend was busy but we had some wonderful meals together at the house and also a little time to explore the countryside around. We hope to come back to this magical place sometime soon!😊

Pats place is the best!! Beautiful views, walking distance to mountain and perfect house inside and out. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend this airbnb. We had such a great time staying here! The house was so cozy and clean and was perfect! Felt like being at home and not staying in an Airbnb. Super close to the mountain, especially if you park in carinthia! Loved the guest book that they have in the kitchen, a fun added touch! Robert was extremely responsive to any messages and super accommodating with us and our needs! Absolutely would recommend staying here!!

My husband and I had a great time here with my dog. The place is very nice and location is great too.

Peter and the apartment were great! Peter was super responsive, friendly, and had nice touches like homemade granola with milk and coffee provided. After my original AirBNB fell through at check-in at 6pm, I was relieved (and saved) by Peter’s responsiveness.

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic location and a really comfortable place to stay with a great feeling of space inside

David and Mátti’s place is truly special. I feel very lucky that we got to stay there for a few days! Thank you to our hosts for creating such a serene, comfortable space. They went out of their way to say hello and make us feel at home. We had a barbecue one night, and David even brought over extra strong bug spray! We also love supporting the incredible work that they are doing with artists. My friends and I would love to stay here again for another trip to the Berkshires.

Great location for exploring nearby towns like Northampton, Amherst, Shelburn falls. As Laura said, no cell service in this town but their WiFi worked great in the unit and it’s a quite peaceful area to stay. The home feels like a well maintained cabin. It’s rustic and cozy but you might find a spider in the shower. I did not find the beds very comfortable but otherwise had a very relaxing stay. Laura was a great host and very responsive

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

Beautiful old home full of an eclectic art collection. It served my group's needs well. Never did find the lockbox for the keys. Had to get them from the on-site groundskeeper, which was a difficult task given we had a significant language barrier. The outside of the house could use some maintenance, so if that is important to you, this may not be the place for you. My one complaint is that they expect you replace the paper towels and toilet paper you use. I would expect those to be included at any price, but especially for the price you pay for this location. Overall, it was a great stay for two nights and we had fun exploring the house.

We had a great stay at Marlene’s guest house. 15 min drive to Mount Snow and 5 min drive to the grocery store. We had plenty of space for two families with bunk beds for the 4 kids on the lower level. The air hockey table and access to the clubhouse swimming pool was a big hit. There were two tvs and board games to keep the group occupied after a long day of skiing. Host was also very responsive to any questions we had. Place was very clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend this place.

Overall we had great experience at the house. The inner decorations were cozy and comfortable, and the design was awesome! The host was responsive when the new door lock had some issues. 100% recommend staying at this house!

Anthony's house was an excellent venue for the weekend of our son's wedding in Williamstown. It easily fit the eight family members staying there with plenty of privacy on three floors and great gathering spaces on the main floor, deck, and pool deck. We're grateful the pool was open; the kids loved it on a hot afternoon of our stay. If you are looking at this house, don't let the backroads approaching it look like a liability. They are well maintained and allow easy access to Williamstown and the southern Vermont towns along route 7, yet the quiet location will insure you sleep well.
