The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. The old Loft is a one bedroom apartment that would sleep a family of 4/5. It is situated on a working farm where you can enjoy seeing the sheep, lambs and Clydesdale horses. We are less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and golf courses that surround us. A perfect get away for walkers, surfers, golfers or if whiskey is your thing there are 3 distilleries to explore! Come and enjoy all that Kintyre has to offer and stay in our fully renovated apartment, you won’t be disappointed.

Sits on the famous Glebe Street which was once regarded as the most valuable street in Scotland due to the amount of Whisky which was in bond. Glebe Street still hosts 2 working distilleries today Springbank and Glengyle. 10-20 minute drive to all local beaches and golf courses. 5 minute walk from bus stance. 5 minute drive to airport.

Located a 4minute drive to Ballycastle town. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space lead out through sliding French doors to a private deck, offering breath-taking views including Fairhead, Scotland and stunning rural views towards Knocklayde mountain. There are two bedrooms, one double bed & one king size bed. Kitchen is fully fitted, bathroom has electric shower. Free parking. Free WiFi. The property is located off the main road on our private equestrian property. No pets sorry.

This would be ideal for family and friends who want to be close together but also want their own space.

Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.
