Our place is a modern, self-contained 2 bedroom apartment located above the main house, complete with its own kitchen, bathroom, balcony and private access (as shown in photos). 100 meters from the bus stop taking you directly to the city center in 15 mins, (5 min drive with own vehicle). You’ll love our place because of the quiet location, ambient space, friendly folk and the outdoor area available for you to enjoy. Ideal for couples, business travellers, solo adventurers, families and friends.

Hockey Hut

Hockey Hut is a cosy, clean, self contained and comfortable hut it has everything you need for a cosy stay. We offer a variety of cereals, breads, tea and coffee for breakfast. Franz Josef township is a 10 minute walk away or a 2 minute drive. Relax and enjoy the beautiful native surroundings. We are at the far end of Cron street, straight past the hot pools, then past the medical centre until you see our red Maori Pau (red carving) then turn right up our drive. We are 116 Cron street.

"Boujee" is a recently built, delightful self-contained studio with a kitchenette, offering a cosy retreat for couples or singles. Nestled just minutes by car from the village centre and iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, it promises warmth and tranquillity amidst breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Step outside to enjoy the serene beauty of Lake Tekapo, with its clear skies for stargazing. Boujee offers the perfect base for exploring beautiful Lake Tekapo and the Aoraki/Mt Cook area.

OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Studio at Cairnsmore (lake views)

Studio at Cairnsmore is a 40m2 apartment that offers stunning lake and mountain views. It is located next to The Cairns golf course and is a 10 minute walk to the village. The Studio has contemporary decor, including a private bathroom, kitchenette (microwave - no cooktop) dressing room and sun drenched courtyard with your own barbecue area. It offers a central, secure base from which you can explore the beautiful Lake Tekapo area and surrounding region. We know you won't be disappointed!

On the Cycleway, Hokitika

Situated on the Westcoast Wilderness Cycleway 6km from Hokitika town centre my place is perfect for all independent travellers. The unit is fully self contained with it's own entrance and great rural views. The Royal Mail Hotel (Woodstock Hotel) is only 3km away and serves great pub food as well as their own craft beer in a historic pub with a lively atmosphere and views of the river. Town is 10 minutes drive away with a selection of good dining options, takeaways, bars and a supermarket.

Hawkshead Boutique Studio & Gardens

Enjoy the peaceful open spaces, the rural aspects and a charming and comfortable, yet spacious well appointed self catered studio. Surrounded by farmland, and a 2 minute walk to the waters edge. Wake to a mountain view and the early morning sun. You have your own private entrance and outdoor seating area. The ‘hawkshead’ culture is a very relaxed one. Halfway between the sounds and glaciers. An easy 15 minute drive from Murchison at the convergence of the Tutaki you will find Mangles Valley Paradise. Surrounded by stunning native bush clad hills the property is situated in an elevated position enjoying spectacular 360 degree views with the Tutaki River flowing gently below. A short drive over the Braeburn Track will take you to beautiful Lake Rotoroa in the heart of the Neson Lakes. If you want to wake up to the sound of the river & native birds - this is the place for you.

Riverstone House

Riverstone is situated on a semi rural lifestyle block on the banks of the Taramakau River, halfway between Greymouth and Hokitika, with a stunning view of the river and historic rail bridge. You would be the only guests staying on the property and will have your own private entrance, lounge/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry and outdoor area. We live in a completely separate and blocked off area of the house, and there are no shared spaces.
