We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bungalow. The place is absolutely dog friendly which was a big plus for us. The owner is very nice and welcomed us warmly. The location is perfect, you are quickly in the middle of the Harz and can enjoy the beautiful nature. The bungalow itself was very clean and well equipped, so we immediately felt comfortable. Had a great stay at Marianne's place! The accommodation is located a little outside, directly in the Teufelsmoor. There is a beautiful bike path through the moor to Worpswede. We had been looking forward to the peace and quiet beforehand and were richly rewarded - there were almost no other sounds except birds chirping, cuckoos calling, leaves rustling and horses neighing. The accommodation was designed by Marianne according to her own ideas and was very nice and creatively furnished, including with her own pictures and fresh flowers. There is a beautiful little terrace surrounded by beautiful flowers and large trees. We immediately fell in love with this gem and will definitely come back and enjoy the great landscape, tranquility and Marianne's hospitality.

I’ve enjoyed the stay at the apartment. Communication was on high level. Host helped us with all our requests and replied to all our questions. Would strongly recommend this place as the location is in the city center and price is more than affordable.

After a trip from Denmark, we arrived in Hamburg to break up the long train journey to the Netherlands. For us, it was especially important that we had a quiet place to rest, and where we could easily and quickly get to by public transport. Philip's apartment met both of these requirements perfectly. We rolled our suitcases within a few minutes from the metro into the apartment, which is beautifully located in a very green courtyard where you can forget the busy car traffic of Hamburg for a while. Furthermore, everything we needed was present, such as fresh towels, oil for cooking and filter coffee. Furthermore, communication with the host was very smooth and helpful and although we did not have the chance to greet him in person, everything went very well.

Doerthe is a very helpful and wonderful person. Communication was clear, fast, and you can ask with ease if you need anything. Straight and honest people, with a good heart. The neighborhood was peaceful and the surroundings were relaxing after city visits. The apartment and the garden were beautiful. There were everything you need in the apartment. It was easy to make your own food. The pillows and blankets were lovely and warm. The linens and towels were clean. We really liked the skylight (using the blinds with remote was easy) and the barrel sauna! Public transport provides easy access to the city centre of Hamburg. A short walk away is a shop, pharmacy, café, restaurant and post office. We fell in love with this place <3

We especially liked the quiet location, the fantastic garden and the wonderful winter garden. The location is beautiful. The U1 is within walking distance and after 50 minutes you get off at Jungferstieg right in the center of Hamburg. The weekly market in Volksdorf is recommended on Saturdays. A fantastic Edeka is nearby for fresh rolls. Gitta is a great hostess. We will be happy to come back.
