North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. The old nave "monastery" was built as the 8th house built in Ording and used to be a pastorate, school and poor house. It's been freshly restored. The house may be nice, but the location is even better. 150 m from the official beach entrance, the best beach section and fish rolls and yet quite quiet. From the harbor you can reach the Halligen and neighboring islands (Pellworm, Amrum, Föhr and Sylt) by boat.

An exclusive and high-quality 90 sqm apartment awaits you on the upper floor of an old farmhouse in a quiet, secluded location, directly from the old dike. The property is located in the middle of the idyll, surrounded by countless fields and a breathtaking view into the distance. The sea or the nearest swimming area is 5-10 minutes away by car. Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.

The 1000sqm property has a sauna house, an outdoor whirlpool for 4 people and an open fireplace in the living-dining area. Upstairs are three 15 sqm bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Lovingly and thoughtfully, we have created a fantastic apartment on 70 square meters for 2 (up to 4) people on 2 levels - the sleeping area is located in the light-flooded upper floor. Please note that the only door is the bathroom door - the rest is open. We have tried to build as sustainably, ecologically and high-quality as possible - the colors are from the chalk period, the paints are water-based.

"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.

You will love my accommodation because of the peace and the good air and the kilometer-wide view over the fields as well as the immaculate condition.
