Located 2-miles from Welshpool which offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops, Powis castle and the wider Montgomeryshire area.

Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.
