Nature cottages & private wellness garden

Imagine... after a wonderful night under the starry sky, you'll be woken up in the morning by the chirping birds and curious squirrels. On the deck there is a breakfast basket (optionally bookable €20.- p.p.p.n.) with delicious fresh local products. After you have made a cup of coffee or tea, you will find your place in the hammock or on your terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. The private wellness garden is NOT included in the price, but cost per 4 hours €99.-

The Golden Island is located in the construction of a beautiful city villa on the edge of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as The Golden Island, a villa neighborhood with homes built in the period 1910-1930. The Golden Island is set in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seat, kitchen, wc shower, king size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Next to our house from 1904 on the outskirts of Gasselte is the fully furnished guest house that is completely at your disposal. You can enjoy the tranquility of Drenthe in various nature reserves, but you are also close to the tourist villages Borger and Gieten, with restaurants and shops, and activities such as golf and swimming. The price includes bed linen, made beds, towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning!! (no breakfast!)

Do you want to enjoy peace and space in a natural area? Then choose this lovely place in Hungry Wolf. You can relax in this cottage, which is cozy and comfortably furnished. In addition, you will have your own terrace with a beautiful and sweeping view. Also during the colder days in autumn and winter, it is good to spend time here; the pellet stove ensures a warm and pleasant stay.
