Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Weare

We had a wonderful (restful!) stay in Weare. Highly recommend this peaceful property right on the lake.

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Christopher’s place. It is clean, spacious, and the views are stunning, just a short walk to Dewey beach and Sunapee town. Highly recommend! Perhaps the only (minor) downside was that the place was short on household supplies and there were no grocery stores within a walking distance.

Despite some snow and a power outage, our family had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this property. The gas fireplace was a blessing and helped us stay warm during the outage. The house was well-equipped and had all amenities as advertised. Merrill was a great host!

Darryl’s house was extremely enjoyable. It had everything we needed, and we had a very relaxing time at the lake. It felt private, amazing views, and was very comfortable.

I can only say wonderful things about this property! Everything was beautiful both inside and out. The house was very clean and organized and was also extremely well stocked. Anything that we needed we found in this house. And everyone in our group said the beds were very comfortable… which is very important to me! Erik was great with communication and very proactive. He sent us a note about a week before we checked in that had everything we needed to know; it was quite helpful. I highly recommend this home….and as an added bonus, the view is spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Our rental was roomy with 6 adults and slept comfortably with bedrooms were big and roomy. The coffee station was great with everything we needed. William was there to greet us and allowed us an early check in to drop off luggage before enjoying the area. Lots of towels and toiletries. The place was very clean and enjoyed the snacks. Thanks.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was something special. The property was immaculate—clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Every detail, from the cozy bedding to the pristine kitchen, was perfection and made our trip unforgettable. Judith went above and beyond in every way, and clearly thought of everything a guest would need to feel right at home. She is also very responsive and easy to communicate with Without question, this property sets the gold standard for all Airbnb rentals. Look no more! Winter Island Retreat is a seaside oasis that creates an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. From the moment I arrived I was struck by it's beauty captivated by the stunning sunrises to start each day The retreat is charming and a place of solace. The beautifully manicured lawn and gardens filled with lush floral designs adds to its magic. while the front porch with its rocking chairs, invite you to slow down and savor your morning coffee or lose yourself in a good book. Evenings are equally special walking the path to the beach and settling into the adriondack chair with a glass of wine It's a peaceful ritual that grounds you in gratitude. The home itself is cozy, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with calming beachy touches that make you feel at ease. It's perfectly located just minutes from downtown Salem. I'm grateful to be one of the lucky guests to stay in David's home. He was a kind and gracious host. A truly memorable retreat I will be back

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

I traveled with a group of four women, between the ages of 35-65. Each of us had a bed in a separate room which gave a bit of privacy. The space was charming and pristine. It was the small touches for us! There was water bottles, coffee, tea. There was even instant oatmeal and some seasonings!! Being able to cook (pots, pans, cutting board, etc provided) and have a meal together was a bonus! The bathroom was adorable (surprised by bidet). There was lotion, hand soap, and clean WHITE towels. Our 4 coffee mugs filled with goodies on the kitchen island upon entering was such a personal touch. It was just an all around comfortable and home like stay! I would DEFINITELY recommend this wonderful Victorian getaway!! By the way, the photos don't do the space justice. We were all pleasantly surprised and kept commenting how nice of an Airbnb it is. Do yourself a favor and book with Cheryl. You won't regret your decision!!

Molly was incredibly responsive and so friendly! We felt very at home and the space was perfect for our weekend stay. Easy to walk right into town too!

This was such an incredible place to stay! The whole mansion is absolutely stunning, the surroundings and views are beautiful. However, what made this stay truly special was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the host. This was a wonderful experience and we are all looking forward to our next stay!

This was a perfect spot for us as we attended a graduation. It was clean, had plenty of room and then goodness had coffee and a filter for the pot! Would highly recommend.

Really nice place it had lots of fun amenities! My only complaint is that there were some basics that were missing from the kitchen (salt, pepper, olive oil, cutting board etc.).
