Staying in Wayanad was one of the best decisions we made, and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience! Aswathi and her mother were incredibly kind, warm, and responsive throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely outstanding—home-cooked meals that were so delicious, we found ourselves preferring it over any restaurant! Aunty’s cooking was beyond words, and we were spoiled with an array of freshly prepared breakfast, fruits, lunch, snacks, and dinner, every day. The homestay itself was a gem. Surrounded by lush greenery, tranquil atmosphere, the location was perfect. It was the ideal retreat, offering both peace and beauty. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa nestled in nature. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and even has a charming little stream flowing through it, which adds to the serene vibe. The villa itself is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the host, Mr. Shine. He was extremely friendly, responsive, and always just a call away for anything we needed. His hospitality really enhanced our overall experience. The villa doesn’t have air conditioning, but thanks to the pleasant weather, it didn’t feel uncomfortable—though it did get a bit warm during the afternoons (we visited in May). Also, there’s a CCTV camera installed at the outer boundary facing the swimming pool, which slightly impacts the privacy for couples and could be reconsidered. The location is excellent with adventure parks, viewpoints, and tea gardens all nearby. The view from the property includes a stunning mountain backdrop.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was just perfect — the setting, the view, and especially the pool, which was definitely the highlight for us. Roy, the caretaker, was wonderful and did everything we asked for. Though we had a bit of a language barrier since he speaks only Malayalam, Google Translate came to the rescue and it all worked out smoothly. A beautiful stay in a beautiful place — would definitely recommend!

After spending 4 days at Bharath's place, I can only think of good things to say. The location is excellent if you're looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. The home overlooks coffee plantations and also forests on a hill - there is greenery everywhere! The property itself is a home with beautifully maintained flowers and other plants. The room itself is very spacious and comfortable. There is an attached kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and basic utensils - enough to make quick meals but nothing elaborate. The bathroom is clean and we had no trouble getting hot water. The beds are comfortable. Can't really ask for more. Spots such as the Irpu Falls and Nagarhole NP are nearby. Importantly, Bharath and his family are wonderful people, and made us feel right at home. As long as you have the expectation that this is not a commercial venture and you're staying in someone's home, you are sure to have a very peaceful and relaxing trip to Coorg when staying here.

We were a group of 4 friends traveling from Bangalore, looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway—and Shyam's place delivered just that. The property is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by a variety of fruit and flower trees, which made the environment feel serene and refreshing. One of the highlights of our stay was the food—Shyam arranged delicious home-cooked meals for us. We especially loved the chicken kadai and biryani; both were absolutely mouth-watering! The location is great too, with many tourist spots nearby. Banasura Sagar Dam is just a short drive away and offers a beautiful walking trail around the dam. For adventure lovers, there’s a zipline at both Banasura and Karapuzha dams, but we found the one at Karapuzha to be more thrilling. Overall, a wonderful stay—we'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat in Wayanad!

Was a pleasant stay, the caretaker Manoj was very helpful and the home cooked Kerala food was delicious. Also has a fully functional kitchen. Has some good sight seeings nearby. For local sight seeing and Wayanad it’s great. For Kabini / nagarhole safari would not recommend as the forest road closes from 6pm-6am, we were not aware and had to reach the place back with 100km detour. Overall it’s a nice peaceful place to spend with family.

Beautiful home! Comfortable stay at a friends place. that's the feeling I carried at the checkout. host family was extremely polite , helpful and simple. beautiful surroundings of coffee plantation and biodiversity made it a perfect relaxing vacation. will come again

It was a great experience to stay in a tree house. It was my first time and I am not gonna get over this beautiful feeling of staying here anytime soon. There is calm river flowing right in front of the tree house. There is a beautiful farm where you can take a stroll and explore the various vegetation the family is taking care of. Mahima helped me set up a beautiful candle light dinner which definitely helped me to have one of the most beautiful experiences so far. Highly recommended. Please go and enjoy the hospitality.

This homestay is located centrally in waynad area . You will enjoy lot of indoor & outdoor activities in Villa itself . Caretaker Akhil will make your trip memorable by staying in constant touch so that you will enjoy holidays hassle free This place is as it's described . This amazing property has beautiful swimming pool to rejuvenate after day's sightseeing . Water is crystal clear. Also peaceful surroundings makes this places great in value. Also food ordered through tie up restaurant was of good quality for both veg & non veg members as we were 12 guests . This is best location for family trip i must say to enjoy .Akhil is a good host & we will definitely come here again .

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The property was perfect for a group (we were 11 members and a pet) getaway — spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The pool was a huge hit, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying it. One of the best parts was the stunning view from the property — absolutely breathtaking and made every moment feel extra special. The staff were also fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape with friends!

highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Wayanad. Kiran is an amazing host with very kind helpers. They live in the vicinity and are very responsive to your needs and requirements. The pool and the outdoor area is the highlight of this property. The pool was very clean and good size. Additional points for the pool being private, for those looking for it, this is absolutely private. The overall ambience of the outdoor area is really nice. Lot of activities outside the pool area. We stayed for a day, but it would be a lot more fun to stay more. The rooms are decent size and clean. Overall, I think this property is gold. And totally worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience! The view was breathtaking — waking up to such natural beauty every day was a dream come true. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The location is quite private, which gave us the space to really relax and have fun without interruptions. It’s a bit of a challenge to reach the hotel because of the steep road, but trust me — it’s totally worth the effort once you get there. The cleanliness was top-notch — definitely a 5-star experience in that regard. The food was simply awesome, with every meal being fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. And an added bonus — Zomato delivers here too, which was super convenient and gave us even more food options to enjoy! All in all, it was the best time I’ve spent in a while. We stayed at this property in Kappad for two days with family and really enjoyed the beachfront location—it was right in front of the sea, which made for a great setting. The upper room was spacious and had a lovely view, while the lower rooms were a bit smaller but comfortable. The pool and common areas were well-maintained, and the breakfast served was quite nice. The hosts were responsive and helpful with all our queries. Although the price felt slightly high for the facilities offered, we were overall satisfied with the experience. Would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful beachside stay.

Memorable Stay at Cinnamon Villa, Wayanad – Made Special by Incredible Hosts Our 3-day stay at Cinnamon Villa in Wayanad was truly unforgettable—mainly because of the incredible hospitality of the hosts. Due to heavy rains, there was no electricity throughout our stay, which could have dampened the experience. But the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. On the first night, they invited all 8 of us into their own home and treated us with genuine warmth. Their mother cooked delicious homemade dinner and breakfast that we all thoroughly enjoyed. When the cook we had arranged didn’t turn up, the owners themselves stepped in and prepared some amazing local cuisine for us for the rest of the stay. While it would have been helpful to have an on-site caretaker or housekeeper, the hosts’ personal involvement more than made up for it. They stayed close by, took us for a lovely drive through their plantation, let us pluck fruits from their trees, and even gifted

The place is absolutely beautiful. There are so many elements in the property like multiple seating areas, ponds, barbecue place, that add to the experience. We stayed here with our 4 doggos and they had a lot of space to run and play around in the property. They had the best time! The help and her daughter who maintain the property are very sweet and ensured the rooms and kitchen were clean and they really did a great job. Regional breakfast like idli, appam and all was provided and it was good. They only speak Malyalam but we could still manage to understand some bits :D. The host is very proactive and responsive. She made sure we had everything that we needed. Will visit again ❤️

Great place, very serene and secluded. Lots of thing to do at the airbnb it self and also in close proximity. Both the caretaker and the chef were amazing people and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely going to visit again!

This place has its beauty of it's own, the birds singing in the morning, the lush green garden and landscapes and most importantly the hospitality by Arun Sir was the best. Also, our best buddies Lucy and Happy made our stay outstanding.

During our stay in the first week of January 2025, everything was exactly as described. The host and his assistant, Vijay, were both wonderful and welcoming. The property is located 1.6 kilometers from the main road and is close to the well-known milk producer in the area. The rooms were clean, neat, and equipped with all the essentials, including toothpaste and soap. Every morning, Vijay prepared a delicious breakfast, and his friendly, humble, and helpful nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Throughout our stay, we felt well cared for, and they were attentive to our needs. Their restaurant recommendations were also spot on! We did experience a couple of minor issues with hot water and drainage in Room #2, but these were addressed promptly. I’m confident that these concerns will be permanently resolved for future guests. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend this place. One friendly advice to host: Send message to host with the landmark.

We were a family of 8 looking for a weekend getaway, and the moment we saw the listing for this place, we were all instantly convinced. The biggest reason — it was a Tharavad. All our ancestral Tharavads had either been demolished or sold by the previous generations, so the idea of staying in one again truly excited us. When we reached, we realized the property was even more beautiful than what we saw in the pictures. If you’re looking for luxury, fancy amenities, or the facilities of a resort or hotel — this may not be for you. But if you’re after an experience — a private, quiet, clean, and nostalgic stay that reminds you of old Kerala homes, this is perfect. We had an amazing time here and would definitely love to come back. If there’s one small suggestion I could make — I wish there were more traditional Kerala dishes available, like beef fry, appam, etc. But that wasn't a dealbreaker, as there were restaurants nearby where we could pick up what we wanted.

Jesvin is a wonderful host and doesn't let her guests want for anything at all! It's no wonder her place receives a stream of visitors! The meals at their place are sumptuous created with a lot of care for healthy options!!! Must stay here if you're visiting the national park or South Coorg!
