My dad and I built this home from 2015-2019 working mostly on the weekends. We did everything we could ourselves including all the framing, siding, and fine woodworking. It has abundant natural and artificial light and a beautiful deck/porch. We made sure to build a lot of storage space with built in closets, cabinets, and drawers. I am very proud of what we accomplished and I'm so excited to be able to share our creation with guests.

We have stayed in 2 of the units in this building. It’s quiet. Its clean. It comes as advertised. Fair price. Whenever we are in town this is the first place we try to book. Kristen is very responsive to messages. And goes out of her way to help. One time we had an issue with the washer. Not her fault. And she assisted us in using another unit in the building to do our wash. As our unit advertised a washer and dryer. If thats not top notch service i dont know what is. Looking forward to our next visit Thank you Kristen

Bottom line: I would stay here again. The place is cozy and tidy. Carmin made obvious efforts to make the place welcoming. It’s a good location that’s removed from the congestion of the village center, but you can get there by car in 5 minutes. You can walk out the door and go for a hike. Water pressure in the shower is good. Carmin provides lots of local recommendations. Netflix readily available. Coffee and welcome snacks given. Heater heats up place quickly. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as you can hear any car pass at night. The place is older, and as such has houseflies. They’re being managed, but it’s a little surprising at first. The place is clean. I didn’t find vent fans for the kitchen or bathroom, but there are windows close. The bed is fairly comfortable, on the softer side, but the pillows are noisy. The cookware is a little beat up (missing handles), but functional. We did not use the washer or dryer. Overall good stay.

Claudia's place was PERFECT! If you are looking to explore Hardwick this is the only way to do it, easy check in and check out and literally spackle dab in the middle of town! Did I mention it's right above one of the most amazing coffee shops, with a great space to work, people with and enjoy delicious homemade bake goods and breakfast sandwich! I also enjoyed positive pie and cork and fork! Thank you so much for everything, felt right at home!

We loved Tim’s apartment for our Stowe ski weekend. It was just as described and in a beautiful setting. Tim was also great to communicate with and very accommodating when we had some last minute changes to our plans. Will definitely stay here again on a return trip - highly recommend!

Nice, comfortable, clean space in private location. Close to everything. Easy walk into charming Waterbury, full of restaurants, diners, pubs and more. Plus close to Stowe and lots of other wonderful Vermont destinations. Easy access to I-89. I’d highly recommend this place and would stay again. Jeff and Lisa were proactive in checking in, but we had everything we needed and were very happy.

Mary Ellen's home provided us with a quiet and comfortable place to start and end our days. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare meals, and we had plenty of room both on the back patio and the living room area to relax at the end of the day. We can easily recommend this home to others visiting the Waterbury/Stowe area.

We stayed at Julie and Marks because we had a wedding to go to at Norwich University, which was right across the street! Julie and Mark were fantastic and made everything easy and great for us! Listing said it was very suitable for infants under 2 years of age but I feel like it was just fine for my 11 month old. They provided a baby gate for the stairs and wall plug covers for the outlets. Rooms were a great size and plenty of common living space! The game room in the basement was fantastic place for the adults to hang out in after the kids were in bed! Will be staying here again!
