Vacation rentals with lake access in Washington County

This house is a cozy beach cottage in a great location! The deck and yard were the best part of the rental with the beach parking pass and beach supplies a total bonus. We had a great stay at this house. Location: It is walkable to a couple cafes, restaurants and an ice cream window by about a mile so location was not only beautiful on the water but convenient for errands. To note, two of the bedrooms are tight in size and don’t have central air or ceiling fans so they got very hot at night. There is also no tub for anyone traveling with little kids who may need a wash up. We spent the majority of our time outside in early August and this house was perfect for that.

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, simply and beautifully decorated, and well equipped. It was also a wonderful setting with great views in all directions. While the houses are quite close together, it is a quiet neighborhood and it helped that it wasn't high season. Lots to explore nearby and just as tempting to sit on the deck or lie in the hammock watching the world go by. This was more than I had initially planned to spend, and I'm so glad I went ahead with it anyway - very grateful for this spot!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!

Bria’s home was outstanding in just about every way. It was absolutely adorable, clean to the point that everything looked brand new, appointed with nearly everything we could need, and super close to Narragansett Beach and shops. When we arrived, we were impressed to see a bowl of water set up for our dogs and a bag of treats for them on the counter (along with an assortment of goodies for the kids, aged 6 and 9, and adults as well). Very thoughtful! We found the yard to be an amazing asset for our dogs, who normally need time to adjust to new surroundings on vacation. They felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful. The only neighbor we saw smiled and waved as he drove by. As small as it is on paper, the home did not feel small to our family of 4. It was just right for a week’s vacation. Bria was a responsive host, helping us find everything we needed in the area. All in all, I would highly recommend Bria’s place!

Excellent host! We loved our stay, the location was perfect, easy to find and felt very safe and private. Kelly was extremely responsive to our questions and the house was in perfect shape with everything we needed. I will for sure use this space when we return. Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

We booked Chris's place for a long weekend birthday celebration (mom's 75th!) and it was super relaxing and very appreciated by all in attendance. The views were beautiful and the mile walk to the beach was lovely. We packed in a lot of food to cook most meals and even brought in some equipment (outdoor griddle) and small-wares (containers, knives, etc) to supplement the basics often found at rentals. The wind can be notable during the day but calm in the mornings and evening. A lovely back patio to lounge on with a gas fireplace and abundant Adirondack loungers. Check out was easy and seamless. Would definitely go back.

Brian and Laura were awesome! Super accommodating hosts, even let me check in early due to guests getting in earlier than expected. Brian was kind enough to give us a quick tour of the home before leaving, and we got to meet his adorable doggo! The home itself was very clean, enjoyable, and overall just beautiful. They were very communicative hosts from start to finish and I would happily recommend this home to anyone! Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Brian and Laura, for giving me an unforgettable 23rd birthday experience! Wouldn’t have been possible with you.

Can't beat the location or cost. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax by the fire with a view of the lagoon or enjoy some yard games for kids and adults. Tom is very kind. He manages the property well, keeping everything clean and stocked. This is the place to stay anytime of year!

My friend and I stayed in another unit of Steven’s last year and had a great time & loved the area. We had a bigger group this year so stayed in this one, and everything was great. The apartment was clean and exactly as described, and Steven was very helpful and communicative! Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

The In-law apartment was lovely, exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Sean and Alison were proactive by providing all information ahead of time.

This is the perfect little Block Island getaway. The two bedrooms are great and even in a small space you have privacy. It’s in the perfect location to walk or bike anywhere. The beach is literally ten steps across the street! It is cute, charming and worn in, in a good way, in my opinion. It is quintessential Block Island. Hope was very responsive and went above and beyond to get us a resolution to a broken TV!

Cute, quaint and quintessential New England cottage. A perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. A very quiet, private and peaceful retreat from the craziness of everyday life. Richard was extremely responsive and helpful for the few questions I had. I did not get the chance to meet him but maybe next time, I’ll certainly be back! If you love the proximity to the hustle and bustle of summer in Narragansett but prefer to be a few short minutes in the quieter bubble of Bonnet Shores, this is your place. 7am walks to the beach and 6pm wine on the patio for sunset. Pure heaven!

Marie is a great host! The cottage was just as described and perfect for our famiky of four. We had plenty of space to stretch out, it was nice and quiet, and close to everything we wanted to see. We will be back!

We had an amazing time at Charlie’s! The view was absolutely stunning and Charlie was so kind to call and make sure we were all set as our weekend was a little colder than expected. He gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We will definitely be back, we had so much fun even though we were mostly inside the whole time. You can beat that view!

This is a very well equipped house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all on one level - something hard to find. Dana was exceptionally professional and responsive. The neighborhood is super quiet and only a few blocks walk to the small beach on the Narrow River. We kayaked almost daily! The local RI beaches are spectacular and the biking is also great. The house and environs met all our expectations. We highly recommend this property and Dana and hope to return again!

This was our 2nd stay at the Lake Cottage. The cottage is the perfect size, very clean and well kept. The view from inside and from the patio of the lake is stunning! Reb is the perfect host - ready with suggestions of where to eat, etc. if we didn't feel like cooking. Relaxing indoors or out was refreshing - just what we needed. We hope to make it there a 3rd time next year.

Quaint home, we slept comfortably in the main bedroom. Beautiful surroundings and view off the deck. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.

Little slice of heaven! Wonderful location across the road from the spectacular beach..not crowded. I love a rustic cottage...reminds me how a cottage was during my youth. Nothing fancy but had everything you need. Sarah was very welcoming, left a personal note and salt water taffy. Neighbors were very friendly. Hope to stay again!

We loved Alyssa’s house for a girls weekend in fall! The water views are lovely and we walked to Charlestown Beach (just under a mile) easily. Couple of cute eateries about a mile up the roads—beach rose cafe was great for breakfast and breachway tavern for dinner was excellent
