Magical Farm Getaway - a must visit!

StephanieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A fun winter break/birthday getaway! Sarah’s house had plenty of bedrooms for all guests. The game room, pool table, and wood stove/fireplace were great to have on these cold February days. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom and large dining table. The hot tub and outdoor sleds were used as well. The history of the house and beautiful views from the property were an interest to all. I bet this house is a lovely spot in the summer as well!
The exterior of a historic two-story house built in 1864 is showcased, featuring white siding and dark shutters. A wide pathway leads to the entrance, bordered by green lawns and shrubs. A red barn is visible in the background, set against a clear blue sky.

Country Getaway Lodge / Ranch

TrevorRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.
A view of an old barn nestled among lush greenery. Rows of evergreen trees line the foreground, leading towards the barn set against a backdrop of rolling hills and forested areas, creating a serene and natural environment.

Top of the World Log House Getaway

LarryRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Imagine waking up above the clouds, watching the sunrise from a rocking chair on the front porch, and ending the day watching the sunset from the rear deck. Once the sun is down, you can sit around the firepit surrounded by tiki torches and enjoy a peaceful night. Calling this place the "Top of the World" is no exaggeration. Although we were tempted to spend the entire week on the property, the proximity to the Merck Forest, Saratoga, the Ondowa Greens golf course, and the Washington County Fair made these exciting outings all too easy. I can't imagine how our stay could have been any better.
A rustic study features two twin beds with plaid bedding, positioned next to a window framed with decorative lace curtains. A reading chair in floral fabric complements the room, while built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and warm wood accents enhance the inviting space.

Hopkins House Farm - the Study

JoyRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Charming, warm, accommodating hospitality Charlie and Aggie style!! Do be advised that their home is a 1790 farmhouse in the country, so may not be to everyone’s liking. As for myself, I loved it having grown up on a farm in Michigan. The home is lovely though and has a lot of antiques. Upstairs bedroom and shared bath worked out okay (even having to go up and down with a sprained ankle!) It is about a 20 min drive into Dorset VT and about 30 to Manchester VT. Best advised to arrive in daylight if at all possible (due to dark roads and potential animals!) Countryside was gorgeous this Fall and beautiful drive during the day. They are great, friendly hosts!

MendingWalls TOO!

VeronicaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Everything about it was the way he said it would be. He is a great host, attentive and caring when needed but keeps to himself otherwise. He has a great spirit, interesting person who knows a lot about life and art. A good hearted person as well. I spent here about 2 months and enjoyed every moment of it. The house was very cozy, the kitchen's fireplace always have woods burning and Bud (Donald) also cooks well. Body, his dog and Luna, his cat, are adorable sweet animals and well behaved. Bud cared about me and my cat, Bobo, and we had the best time in Bud's Castle"....as I called it. Bud even helped me through a snow storm via the phone when I lost my confidence in my driving and served me hot soup when I got back. It was an awesome experience and I would come back any time of I had a chance. It was home away from home, rather than an Airbnb. Thank you Bud, Body and Luna! Will never forget the fun I had in Mendingwalls.

Carriage House Of Old Saratoga.

AlexandriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was so much fun. We had a campfire every night. The back yard is an open field with a little patio. Beautiful views and man could we see a lot of stars. The place was very clean and exactly what I thought it’d be. We used the grill to cook and didn’t have any problems our whole stay. When I did message Vasili he responded quickly. Would def recommend this place for anyone needing to stay close to Saratoga springs!

Minutes to Saratoga, stunning views, pool, privacy

TanyaRating, 5 stars24 months ago
This property was absolutely ideal for our girl’s weekend. Lots of space, amenities as described, a fabulous pool, and super comfy beds. There was so much privacy, surrounded by idyllic, rolling green fields. Everyone loved waking up, sitting on the front porch, and watching the horses across the street. Easy access to downtown Saratoga Springs, though we also stayed in to take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. Our host was wonderfully responsive and helpful. The household guidelines were easy to follow. Thanks for being such a great host!

Unplug+Restore: Pick Flowers+Veggies on the Farm!

Teri YakiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kelsey was responsive and went above & beyond to inform us of weather that would affect our arrival. She offered to refund but agreed to refund partial. We went later and stayed one night. Instructions for finding a parking and pathway were clear. We meandered to the farm and were welcomed. They have a garden shop with coffee and local produce and items easy to cook in the fireplace. There's some historical displays upstairs, so ask for a tour! We found the trail completely sloshed from recent torrential rain, were glad we delayed, & even more glad we came for the remaining reservation. We found the open air cabin exactly as described which Kelsey had reiterated in our early communication. The beds have allergen covers, & we all slept very well. The firewood was plenty. They supplied matches, kindling, ample drinking water, board games, and mosquito nets for beds. We will be booking again. We relaxed & enjoyed no screens family time. Short walk to river. Go!
A charming multi-story house is set against a clear blue sky, surrounded by well-maintained green lawns. A vibrant tree with pink blossoms is positioned near the front, adding a touch of nature. The entrance features a welcoming yellow door, framed by clean white siding.

Beautiful Farmhouse

JosephRating, 5 stars23 months ago
I was able to book this last minute because our previous plans fell through. Robert was very accommodating and saved the weekend for our group. The location is awesome, far enough out of Saratoga to feel secluded but only 10 miles from all the action. Robert was proactive in all communication and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone whose looking for a peaceful place close to everything Saratoga has to offer.

The Lodge, a 70's Getaway w/swimming pool

AyeshaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
If you are reading this review.. BOOK this place right now. I have stayed in over 50 AirBnB’s across the US and this one stands out on another level. The attention to detail in every corner. The cleanliness. The amazing hospitality with the host walking us around the entire place giving us a tour. All the games blankets full bar and kitchen utensils were an amazing touch. I would easily go back. Loved this cabin so much it was home away from home. Did a small friend’s gathering for New Year’s Eve we spent 4 days here and didn’t want to leave. I’m telling you, if you see this review just book it. There isn’t a better option.

Honey-Bee Cottage. A unique glamping experience

AshleyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
If outdoors is where you want to be and looking for a unique camping experience, this is it! I've wanted to stay in a Yurt my whole life. The themes of each yurt are amazing. I was given a tour of the wedding barn too. So beautiful. Got everything I wanted. Hiking trails on the property for me and our dogs, swimming pool for the kids, and a great pond fishing experience. Camp fires at night are a must. The best thing is the abundance of wild life. This is a bird enthusiast's paradise. Bring binoculars! And the hosts really know what they're doing! I wouldn't be able to list or describe all the great things they do to make their place the magic that it is. So, just book it and see for yourself!

Somewhere In Time

WilliamRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Amazing host! They loaded up the canoe and helped bring it down to the lake for us to have a day out rowing. The property is peaceful, quiet, beautifully maintained and right across the road from the lake. So many great hikes nearby and not far from the grocery store. The house is an old farm house with lots of charm. We watched deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and wild turkey roaming the yard. The outdoor shower was great. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

We loved this place! We will definitely keep it on our list of places to return to. Very private, quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. The hot tub is awesome! With the sound of the stream that runs right past the house. Plenty of music to listen to and books to read. Plus the wood stove. The rail trail is beautiful as well.
