Home Away From Home Hot Tub + Arcade

There is so much to love about this charming little house! It was built in 1905 and has many original features such as 11ft ceilings, hardwood floors and multiple built in fireplaces. Yet it also has a few modern day updates such as the fully stocked, island kitchen; the best of both worlds! You can enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and grill dinner under the string lights on the back deck where we have a cute, fenced in back yard! Just make yourself at home!

Laura Walker State Park/Golfing and Okefenokee Swamp Park entrance is approx. 8 miles away. Visit our Heritage Center and Southern Forest World to see the petrified dog in the log. The Golden Isles are about an hour’s drive away. There is a fabulous bike trail on Jekyll Island. Beautiful beaches awaits on Jekyll and St. Simons Island also with historical places.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this property. It is exactly like the pictures look. The host for this property is super quick to respond to any needs. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of linens. It is close to downtown Waycross where the restaurants are.

1BR 1BA Retreat • Walk to Park

We really enjoyed staying at the Valentin family Airbnb! The hosts were responsive and kind, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! From putting up a little welcome sign with our names on it to having our favorite drinks on hand when we arrived, it was a wonderful experience!

I usually stay in shared spaces, but Shelby's place was a pleasant surprise. Not too big but plenty of space well appointed. Very clean and comfy. 5 adults would be tight but perfect for 3 or 4. I would certainly come back by myself or with others.

Jarrod’s place has truly been a home away from home for myself and my children while working as a travel nurse in town. The price is great, it’s close to a few local restaurants, Walmart grocery, and I can get to the hospital for work in 5 minutes literally. Jarrod is extremely friendly, quick to respond, and has been a very pleasant host. Anytime I am in Waycross for work if this place is available, I will always choose this one first!

We came to town to help a friend move into their new home and were worries about finding an Airbnb since it’s so rural. James’ place was perfectly located just 10 minutes away from where we needed to be. Had everything we needed plus an old rustic home charm. Very spacious as well.
