Horse Relay in the heart of nature

The house was built around 1750 and was originally a horse relay for stagecoach that ran between Strasbourg and Nancy. Then it was used as a lumberjack house and as a farmhouse. Around 2000 we purchased the house and renovated it from the ground. Since then, we use it as a family retreat. The house is located about 3km outside the village, in the forest on a glade, 75km from Strasbourg. The 2 hectares property is located on a southern slope, surrounded by pines, birches, oaks, fruit trees and flower beds. Nature pure! Solitude and Blackfire, two Tennessee Western Horses are at home here. If you would like to go on a horseback you can call Mathieu et Clémentine, have a look at "more information". A paradise for nature lovers and people looking for peace and conviviality. For hiking, the place is ideal, because you can start running from the house. (Maps and places to visit are in the house). The house: We rent the entire house, handover of the keys by appointment. The house is clean and ready for your visit. A cleaning fee is included in the price, but please leave the house swept and tidy. The beds are freshly made, towels are provided. All appliances in the kitchen can be shared, spices, a first-class olive oil and vinegar are also available. People who are looking for activity and proximity to the nature is right here. There is only one condition: safe handling with fire and no fear of horses. The horses are permanently on the property and are supplied daily by the neighbors with food. The house: The ground floor is the large living room. We are cooking with gas. The kitchen is fully equipped : an oven, Kitchen-Aid dishwasher, 2 refrigerator etc. Entrance hall with cupboards, bench and hoard cabinet. Large bathroom with shower, warm water through 300l boiler, spererated WC, etc. On the upper floor is the living room with sofa, glass table and 2 chairs. On this floor 3 separate bedrooms with double beds (140x200) and cabinets. On the top floor is a lounge through to open gallery with a double bed 200x200, a desk and a TV area with sofa. The house is heated exclusively with wood. A 12kw Bullerjan oven at the ground floor and a 7kw oven upstairs is sufficient for this.
