Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

The perfect base from which to explore our beautiful area. Captains Retreat Cottage is a private one bedroom ( very comfy 6ft superking) cottage in the heart of Lymington. Free unlimited parking a few minutes walk away.The high street is 5 mins walk , lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and a museum. There is a very popular market on Saturdays. At the bottom of the high street is the stunning Lymington quay on the cobbles, a popular place for a coffee or grab a local boat trip. Nearby there are beautiful walks and a marina. Well behaved dogs welcome.

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.

There is so much to see and do in the local area - whether walks in the New Forest, visiting towns and villages such as Beaulieu and Brockenhurst or enjoying the sea and coastline. The Isle of Wight can be accessed from Lymington Ferry Terminal and makes a great day trip.

Juliet House

Juliet House is in the perfect location to explore Lymington and the New Forest. Just a few minutes walk from both the town centre and the train station but tucked away in a quiet street. The house has a lovely bright sitting room with a Juliet window with balcony doors. There are two bedrooms, one with a double size bed and ensuite and the other with a single bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, grill, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher.

There is a great market on the high street every Saturday morning and you’re only a short drive from the stunning New Forrest. Pet’s welcome!

The Lodge at Cherrytree cottage

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Pilley is a self contained unit comprising of a bedroom with an en suite shower room, kitchen/diner and a lounge. It is in the grounds of Cherrytree cottage with access to the large bottom half of the garden including use of the summerhouse and loungers. The Lodge has a designated parking spot off road within the grounds of Cherrytree cottage.
