We had a fantastic stay at the Airbnb in Twizel! The location was perfect peaceful yet close to town, making it super easy to get to the shops and everything we needed. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

A short but beautiful drive out of town, it was so peaceful with an amazing sunrise. The heat pump was incredibly efficient and the bed was comfy. I hope to stay again.

Beautiful home, so lovely to have the fire set. Ready to be lit on arrival . Ideal location for my daughter’s wedding. The host was fantastic, easy to deal with. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend the Vulcan hotel for meals and drinks.

Such a beautiful home, you can definitely see how a real family in NZ upbringing close to nature, plenty of memories. Such a warm and sweet family. The fireplace and stag head definitely adds a lot of character to home. The rain shower felt amazing, and the bath tub with view definitely melts away your sore body and feet after a long hike. The view of the mountain really breathtaking. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge is big enough for a family. We stay for 3 nights and really enjoyed that we took a day off just to stay home and just chilling. At night with clear sky you get to see the Milky Way, shooting stars and even aurora! Definitely one of our unforgettable highlight in NZ trip!

Ian and Tia were very loving hosts and attentive to whatever we needed. The cottage is fully equipped to spend a few relaxing days there.

Great nights sleep! Beautiful garden and surroundings. We were in the room in the house with private bathroom attached, with our dinner/breakfast table in the cottage a short walk away. Middlemarch is worth the stop, it’s absolutely beautiful here. It’s where we finished the Otago rail trail cycle, most people we met along the way got the shuttle elsewhere, we decided to stay and had the best nights sleep of our holiday! Nikki & James are absolutely lovely and you’ll enjoy a stop in Middlemarch.

What a stunning location, overlooking the rolling hills, so peaceful and private. A beautiful rural setting and under 10 mins to the wonderful Oamaru. Andrea was great with instructions on how to find the cabin, and restaurant recommendations etc. The cabin was well equipped, very clean, cossy and a very comfortable bed. Thanks Andrea

Arrived to a lovely smelling (lavender diffuser), warm & welcoming rustic hut. Immaculately presented. Found Hugh to be a lovely, friendly host. Had a very peaceful, relaxing 2 night stay. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor bath & shower, fluffy robes, yummy sourdough bread & eggs each morning, friendly dogs & other animals & the serene, tranquil location. Thank-you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Eddie provided the clear guidance and welcome us by herself. We visited her farm and caught some apples, they are tasted good, my mother really loved them. The house is really clean, a little bit tiny but very warm, just like our home. The kitchen is outside the room and has full equipments, my family cooked our dinner by ourselves. Tomorrow morning we fed the sheep and they are really lovely.😊

Karen's place is definitely a once a lifetime experience. The perfect lake house that we dream about since we are little. The house is super spacious that could easily accommodate 20ppl. the best part of our stay is soaking into the hot tub outside the house, staring a the ✨✨✨ the only heads up is probably be aware that it is around 15mins off road drive before getting to the lake house.

The views are even better in person—pictures don’t do it justice! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. From peaceful mornings with a hot drink by the window to stargazing at night, every moment felt magical. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with world-class views. We had a fantastic stay here for a couple of nights. The setting was beautiful and Michele was kind enough to let us explore the stunning garden and enjoy some of her home grown veg. The welcome couldnt have been warmer. The accommodation was clean and cosy and was perfect for us and our two small children. A perfect alternative to staying in Tekapo. We would loved to have stayed longer. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

We had a beautiful stay in Otematata, very peaceful and clean - exactly as described in the listing! Nice touches too; a selection of teas, plenty of extra blankets, and a well equipped kitchen. This place is such great value, and I’d love to come back! Thanks Robyn and Ross :)

Lovely, peaceful cottage with beautiful mountain views. The king bed was super comfy, and everything was clean and well-equipped. Great spot for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

Cabin with beautiful view, in the morning can see sheep near to cabin. Only thing that is inconvenient is separated area for toilet, no tap water at cabin side so have to walk all the way to toilet just to wash your hands.

Julies place was beautiful warm and cosy felt like home. The cottage was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Plus gorgeous brekkie supplies. The bed was a super king fabulous. I did the farm tour was so wonderful loved it... was the cherry on the cake feeding Tommy the sheep his bottle. highly recommend this gorgeous cottage.

It was so nice to be welcomed to the cottage by Peter who lit the fire before our arrival. He showed us around and offered suggestions for places to visit. The homemade bread was delicious and the other breakfast treats were abundant. The large kitchen table enabled us to have convivial conversations over meals. There were plenty of towels and extra linen, the shower/toilet area was clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely book a weekend here again.

A very nice and cozy place with superb view of the ocean. Booked last min as my trip to Lake Tekapo is affected by road closure, had to divert. Very fast action from the host with everything sorted out immediately upon booking. Very responsive too, all messages are replied in minutes.
