This has been by far, the best, most beautiful, relaxing, unique, and spectacular place we have stayed. It is out of city limits with very dark skies for star viewing. Our hosts were incredibly thoughtful with light food items, fresh flowers, and toiletries. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

We had 2 nights in the Cottage. It was in a beautiful setting, private and quiet. It was roughly in between Cambridge and Hamilton on a high class road. Jane provided breakfast cereals, porridge and croissants and even gave us a jar of newly made jam and figs to take home. Comfy beds, great heat pump and lovely lookout from the balcony as well as a very friendly host. Thank you Jane.

Natasha was a great host and let us book and check in early with little notice. The space matches the pictures and is very well decorated, she provides fresh florals and an assortment of snacks. We booked in a bit of a hurry and didn’t realize the space only comes with a toaster to heat up food, so we messaged her asking if we could heat up some left overs in their kitchen which was very kind. The family as well as their very sweet dog and cat can be seen roaming around the backyard.

This is a quiet and peaceful location, with easy check-in and great communucation. The new diesel heater was fast and efficient, heating the room nicely. It was a charming pad with all the pottery made by Kimba. Be sure to take the opportunity to go up and have a look at her studio!

Perfect location to Myserty Creek event. Claudia was super cool to deal with. Prompt communication, relaxed atmosphere and a very homely tiny home with all the necessary things. Bed was very comfy and the welcome gifts were very sweet. I recommend host and property without hesitation.

Perfect place to rest after busy days at Fielddays. Would recommend if anyone wants a place in the country but still close enough to get to Mystery Creek and Cambridge. Wish we had more free daytime hours to really see what the place looked like but it was everything we needed, great little pantry and fridge stocked with breakfast and drinks and nice and warm with heatpump and instant hot water in the shower. Jane was lovely and so kind :) Thanks so much for allowing use the use of your place :) - perfect also for leaving our trailer somewhere safe with security around it

Stayed here for two months. Highly recommend this for anyone in the area for a longer period. It is very walkable to the centre of Hamilton. There are co-working spaces nearby (I used The Crate) if that’s something that’s important. Within a very short walk there is a car rental place and making use of that to explore the surrounding area was excellent. Good bus links and the buses take both Bee Card and Cash (at the time of writing). Fantastic place, would absolutely stay again if I am in the area

Our accommodation in Hamilton offers an excellent experience. You'll find yourself within easy reach multiple supermarkets, diverse restaurants, and essential amenities. The spacious room is cosy, thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials for a stay. Best of all, Leanne is a truly outstanding host – warm, friendly, and hospitable.

Absolutely loved our stay at Roger’s guest house. The place is beautiful—peacefully nestled by the river, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Roger was incredibly communicative and helpful, making everything smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to his amazing dog, Buddy, who was the sweetest companion and so well-behaved. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, nature and peaceful vibes.

Hi Marion, just wanted to say thank you again for letting us share your house - everything about the space was perfect for us, it was clean, super comfortable and a great way to end our stay in NZ. We especially loved the instruction sheet waiting for us on the table inside containing all the details we needed about the house, as well as recommendations for things to do in the local area.
