Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe, boat ramp . You cannot get closer. We are 20 mins from Hobbiton, 25 mins to world famous Hamilton Gardens, 55 mins to Rotorua, and 40 min to Waitomo caves. A great 2-3 day round trip. The unit has two bedrooms with ensuites, its own lounge area and kitchenette . Room 1 has a King size bed and Room 2 two king singles. There is also a double sofabed.

Lakeview Lodge was the perfect place for our large family! I wish we had longer to stay because, WOW, it was truly spectacular! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the views were just breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and we all got a great night of rest between the Waitomo glow caves and the Hobbiton movie set tour. Highly recommend for families and groups!

Exactly as described— updated bathroom and kitchen, nice fenced yard, comfortable beds. We also appreciated access to Netflix after a long day on the train. Paul was very responsive when there was a minor snafu with the door code. Glad we stayed here!

We have stayed at this house twice now while visiting family in Hamilton. The house is in the perfect location, very central with great views. Parking is challenging if you have a larger vehicle, but shouldn't be a problem for a smaller car. Will definitely be coming back!

Stunning Hamilton Lake Views

Rachel was a fantastic host, who went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay at her home overlooking the lake in Hamilton. She was very flexible with check in and out times, and her communication was excellent. The house had everything we needed, and the deck and patio overlooking the lake were brilliant. Would definitely book again next time I’m in Hamilton. Thanks for a great experience Rachel.

We were a group of colleagues attending a conference in Hamilton. Sharing Guang's 3-bedroom home worked out perfectly for us. It was comfortable and modern and had everything that we needed.

We had a great stay in Steve's house. The house had everything our family needed and the sofas and beds were very comfortable. The location was great for exploring the region. Also, the garden is beautiful with amazing views of the lake, which was very easy to access. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for two months. Highly recommend this for anyone in the area for a longer period. It is very walkable to the centre of Hamilton. There are co-working spaces nearby (I used The Crate) if that’s something that’s important. Within a very short walk there is a car rental place and making use of that to explore the surrounding area was excellent. Good bus links and the buses take both Bee Card and Cash (at the time of writing). Fantastic place, would absolutely stay again if I am in the area

WOW!! 5-star Airbnb with a 10-star host!!! Absolutely stunning, clean and well-equipped unit. Paul was amazing, from start to finish - providing all the nice touches, local and out-of-town recommendations and he made sure, throughout our stay we had everything we needed and then some!! Stay with Paul - you will NOT be disappointed!! Definitely recommend!!!
