Ross was so lovely to us, we arrived late and he was ready to go when we got there and he was even able to suggest some yummy food places around the corner for dinner. The house was tidy and clean and felt super cosy like home. Ross was super kind and gave us an upgrade which we were super happy about! Overall, I would definitely recommend this Airbnb, easy access, beautiful scenery and a trustworthy host.

Situated less than 10 minutes from Ohakune Town Centre is Tau Studio, an aesthetically designed cabin, perfect for solo travellers or couples. We loved the fireplace during the cold winter evenings, along with the collection of DVDs which was very nostalgic. If you're looking for peaceful surroundings and a mountain view, you won't be disappointed at Tau Studio.

We were a couple who stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Was a little surprised there wasn't an electric blanket, but the heater kept the room warm enough. Met Luke when we returned to the room one day and he was very friendly. Also very responsive to a small issue we had, which was resolved quickly with little fuss. Handy to town and a cute little place to stay. Would return.
