Vacation rentals with beach access in Wailua

We’ve stayed in Baby’s Beach area and Koloa before but never at Kuhio Shores. We really enjoyed location and the unit! The stove wasn’t working properly so that was a bummer as it disrupted a couple meals we planned to make but they were very responsive and came to unit to assess situation. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

We only stayed one night, got there pretty late and left very early in the morning. Place was perfect for our needs, easy and flexible check-in, clean, great location. I would stay again if in Kauai.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights. It has a very beautiful yard. Was spotless inside and near all the North Shore attractions. Adam was very pleasant to talk with. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely wonderful spot. We visited Kaua’i with intentions of relocating there next year. This place was just what we needed. The best part is that everything is walking distance: the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and even a pharmacy. We stayed 9 days and felt right at home. There’s lots of kitchen supplies to make smoothies in the morning, cook lunch, and bbq dinner by the pool. This was perfect because I’m a personal trainer and don’t eat out too much. We had such a great time here! The location in Kapa’a is perfect—right in the middle of the island, so it was easy to explore both the north and south shores and Waimea Canyon. The nearby Coconut Marketplace is convenient, and I recommend the Tuesday and Thursday farmers market in the parking lot. We grabbed local produce, bread, and butter mochi, and the kitchen was just the right size for making fresh meals. The place was clean, nicely updated and cozy and comfortable home base. We slept well. Allen was super friendly and responsive leading up to our trip, and even gave us a quick call to make sure everything was going well. We also appreciated having beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and even a cart—it made beach days super easy. As a younger couple, we loved the slower pace and small-town feel of Kauai after being in Honolulu for a wedding. Nothing felt too far away, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a cozy and convenient spot. We would book again!

Provided a clean picture with amazing view. Great communication. Had all the beach gear you could need for a great beach day (umbrella, towels, snorkeling gear, chairs, cooler, and more). Also, the hiking poles were amazing to have for those long hikes. AC unit in bedroom kept it nice and cold for a great night’s rest. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an Airbnb on Kauai.

Extra points for that beautiful view from the main bedroom (rainbows every day) and the shower is excellent! We had a great stay at the „little red haus“. Clark was great and always helpful at communicating everything. Very uncomplicated check-in and -out. Mahalo 🌺

An incredible, private and comfortable detached Ohana in a beautiful neighborhood. Conveniently located and walkable to numerous shops, restaurants and the ocean (beaches). Great place for family gathering. Everything was well stocked and ready to go. This included a complete kitchen, towels, laundry soap and a garage full of outdoor gear. The back deck was a popular place for reading and conversation. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our 10 nights at Devaki’s beautiful house. It was quiet and peaceful. We never closed the windows or blinds and listening to the rain at night was wonderful. Waking up at daybreak to that view was really nice. The location is perfect and we hope to return soon.

We absolutely loved this home. It was perfect for our family of five. The lanai was our favorite place to hang out after a long active day out exploring Kauai. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

My sisters and I loved this place. Ingrid is great, quick to respond and very helpful. The location is beautiful, very close to great beaches and snorkeling. The beach is just across the street and always empty giving one the feel of having a private beach. Great views from the dining room so we often ate dinner at home after being gone for the day. Close to a great little coffee shop-The Haven. We look forward to going back!

Our family felt right at home, thanks to Donna! It was comfortable and clean, and really ended up being exactly how she described! We will definitely reach out to Donna next time we're coming to Kauai!

Our stay at Mike and Amber's place was perfect! It was a central location where it was easy to go to the north and south parts of the island by car. We were steps from a grocery store, shaved ice, sushi, and ice cream! The rental was beautiful and had everything we needed and more! The bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, the gym on the resort was great, the pool was awesome... the list goes on! Mike and Amber were extremely responsive and accommodating.

highly recommend this place- beautiful setting right on the beach, third floor with elevator-beautiful sunrises, just downstairs is beach to walk along. It is convenient to airport, and you can easily drive to other areas on the island. Kitchen and condo has basic household supplies like some kitchen staples, laundry soap. Michael responds almost immediately to questions and follows up on things as needed.

We just finished a great 5 night stay here. Centrally located on the east side of the island the condo is just as described. We really enjoyed the beach chairs,umbrella, and boogie boards during our stay. The condo is super clean and well maintained.

Our stay with David was absolutely wonderful! He was so responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A dip in the jacuzzi after a long day of sightseeing made our stay extra relaxing, super close to golf courses too! We would highly recommend and would love to stay again!!

My husband and I stayed here for part 2 of our honeymoon trip. It was everything we could’ve asked for and more! Such a beautiful space and wonderful location!

Shari communicates very well. Save the codes to get in the gates as you will need them. Great location. Great beach, pool and condo. Nice amenities. No AC but don’t need it. Look forward to coming back

Lovely condo in Kapa’a with a short walk to the beach where you can watch the sunrise. Spacious living room, good kitchen, nice bedroom and bathroom. Great, responsive hosts!
