Ecologies Door-drongen-Goed in Maldegem 4 pers

YvetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a beautiful place!!!! It exceeded all my expectations. Liesbeth and Pet did a fantastic job. The chalet is well done, beautifully decorated, has the most beautiful garden, all eco friendly. You feel so good when you are there, inside or outside. There are many walking paths, horse riding staples and so many high end restaurants, but you need to book in advance. The location is also good, 30 min to Ghent, Brugge, Knokke ( seaside). This is a place I would love to go back again and again. Thank you Liesbeth

Holiday house with wellness on the outskirts of the forest

PascalRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great and pleasant stay at Joazen! Despite our two little kids having their own idea of zen-like-times ;-) we managed easily to warm the hot tub and sauna and really enjoyed this part. It is a really comfy place and house, a quiet surrounding and Margo will send you great recommendations for your stay. Really worth a trip!

Spacious apartment with terrace at the Begijnhof.

The location was exceptional. A 9-minute walk into the heart of Ghent. And then you’re at the magnificent castle. It’s away from the bustle and especially the tourists (forgive me) who have a couple other squares where they congregate, but close enough to get to absolutely everything including two chocolatiers about 3 mins away! ( Very important if you’re in Belgium IMHO) I was greeted by Thierry’s son who then took me on a tour of the whole town. Wow! (And he’d just flown in from China earlier that day.) Real generosity of spirit. Bed and shower great and not just clean but super duper clean. The space is absolutely gorgeous and also well laid out. Some fun surprises, too. A pool table in the other “wing.” Loved my time there.

Bright bedroom with ensuite bathroom

Karel's home is a beautiful space, with a calm vibe, & very clean. T3 Tram goes to city center & main train station (you can also walk & it'd take about 30 mins to reach the key city center locations). On the ground floor is an entry space, a toilet, & kitchen/living areas, which are shared use. You reach the first floor via traditional stairs, which are relatively steep/narrow. On that floor is the toilet for Airbnb-er to use, which is shared use. You then reach the second floor via another set of stairs: these are ladder-style stairs. The loft/attic bedroom has a big bed, desk, mini-fridge, and shower/sink areas (note that there is no toilet on the second floor with the bedroom). The bedroom is set up extremely well: skylights can be covered with one button for a great night's sleep, well-lit, plugs & cords, a quiet wall/mini-split AC, & spacious. It's clear that this space has been organized fully; I had a very comfortable stay & I'm very grateful for Karel's & Xavier's hospitality.
