Traditional stone house "Antigoni"

JohnRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This is a lovely double story village home and right in the middle of the village, it is well kept by Antigoni who is meticulously responsive towards anything and everything one may need. The house is well furnished and easily accommodates 6 adults. We checked in and found all sorts of goodies in the kitchen and fridge for which we are grateful and she also baked us a marble cake that we enjoyed with our morning coffees. The village itself has just one store for basic supplies, a bakery and a kafeneio (local coffee spot) so nearest supermarket would be AB in Kalloni for those extras you may need. We were lucky to be there right after the heat spell but nonetheless the house has air conditioning and being in the village on the mountain slope we had lots of cool fresh air during the night. I recommend Antigoni’s venue for a peaceful holiday in Lesvos, the advantage is that Vasilika is in the center of many attractions not more than an hour away.
An outdoor communal space features wooden pallets arranged as seating with cushions, surrounded by a patterned rug. A large tree provides shade, and rustic decor items, including small tables and decorative items, are visible, creating a relaxed atmosphere with an expansive natural view.

SeaView in Amazones stone house

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had the most incredible stay at Ronit's place! The airbnb is beautifully designed with exposed stone walls and a clay style feature bathroom. The view is incredible looking out over Tavari and the ocean in the distance. In front of the airbnb there is a private space with a table and chairs, as well as some chill out space and comfy seats just for you. We loved the low sofa inside so you could soak up the views from the living room. The kitchen was well equipped and Ronit had left us fresh fruits and coffee to enjoy. The bathroom has a huge bathtub with rain shower. The bed was very comfy, and the small window looks out onto an olive tree, so you can enjoy the morning staring out to the blue skies from your bed! Thank you Ronit for having us, we had such a wonderful time relaxing we barely left the airbnb, but the surrounding villages and coastline are good to explore too.
A serene view captures the pathway leading towards the beach, framed by trees and stone walls. Gentle waves can be seen lapping at the shore in the distance, while a white swan sculpture rests on the side. Soft light bathes the scene, enhancing the peaceful ambiance.

Secret Greek Escape

PimRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this beautifully restored traditional house on the edge of Plomari. It’s a very short walk into the village and down to the harbour, where you can find a wide variety of restaurants and shops, and a great supermarket. There are also a couple of bakeries. The town is fascinating, both for its architecture and the layout of the little streets that climb the hill on both sides of the river. There are also a number of beaches (pebble) within walking distance, or just a short drive away. The hosts (Sally and Henry) were very friendly and helpful and have made something very special with this renovation. The interior is just as pretty, light and airy as in the photos, with much careful attention paid to the little decor details. The view from the terraces is also wonderful. You do have to walk the last 100 metres through a path along the garden to reach the house, but it’s definitely worth it! We can only recommend this house. It’s a true gem.

Good accomodation. Central with regard to activities in gera Bay area. house located in tiny village next to a taverna (which was closed in May). super quiet that time of year except for the birds. house has nice furniture and bed and has all the small things you need like soap etc. had a very comfortable stay there. several walks pass right through Karini, so perfect for hikers.

"Melinda Holiday House"

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stratis's place is an oasis of calm, rest & beauty. We loved it. The terraces & gardens were especially lovely & the beautiful beach with clean clear blue water especially tempting. We arrived on Easter Sunday & Stratis had arranged for his friend Panos to do some shopping for us, so we had the necessities. Panos's colleague Dimitra was very helpful & responsive when we needed her assistance with a small plumbing issue. The refrigerator may need some attention. Overall we loved this place & would love to come back.
The kitchen area features wooden cabinetry, complemented by a sleek countertop. A minimalist sink and stovetop are visible, illuminated by integrated lighting. A large metal pendant light hangs from the ceiling, adding a modern touch to the space.
