Beachfront vacation rentals in Vrachos

The pictures don't do this wonderful place justice. This home is a little paradise with a beautiful private beach and in a quiet location embedded in nature. Dionisis was very helpful, kind and proactive - sending us clear instructions for everything. He even provided us with a horse rack that we could use to dry our clothes during rain. This Airbnb was the best and most beautiful we've ever been in. Highly recommend and worth every penny!

What an amazing place and wonderful hosts. The house and setting are perfect. Very peaceful and just like the pictures. George and Demitra were incredibly welcoming and made you feel instantly at home. The kitchen was generously stocked, with George leaving a bottle of local wine on more than one occasion! We were on the lookout for a place right by the sea for a month long stay - to be able to wake up and go for a morning swim, walk along the beach, or take a kayak from the doorstep was pretty special. The sunsets are beautiful, and then you get to watch the fireflies in the garden. The area still feels untouched by mass tourism, and is surrounded by olive tree forests and rolling hills - perfect for exploring by bike (provided). There’s a couple of very good beach tavernas close by, and you have the option to paddle there if you wish! We were very sad to leave, but feel completely rejuvenated. Thank you George & Demitra.

A great host, a lovely person, who entered our hearts, helps in everything. The apartment was clean and cozy, it has everything you need The complex itself has outdoor showers, sunbeds, swings, a hammock and a grass area for children to run around in a closed complex that is pleasant for families. Really close to the sea, a walk of about 50 steps. Close to the center of Kabus for the grocery store and the main attractions Very recommend

Si vous aimez l’idée de vivre dans un coin reculé et peu urbanisé, si vous aimez être réveillé tôt par le chant du coq. Si vous avez envie d’être loin de la grande ville et des stations balnéaires. Si vous aimez lire dans le jardin et vous réveillez face à la mer, n’hésitez pas! Il s’agit deux maisons jumelle avec une entrée indépendante. Le jardin est partagé entre les deux maisons. La maison est meublée à l’ancienne. Ce n’est pas tendance ni moderne mais Alex est un hôte authentique qui sera vous orienter vers les belles plages et tavernes du coin.

wij hebben twaalf dagen verbleven in het heerlijke huis van Antonella. De woning voelt ruimer dan de fotos van Airbnb. Het huis heeft een fijne voortuin waar je heerlijk kunt zitten, de keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Antonella is een fantastische host, we hebben regelmatig wat gevraagd over de omgeving of praktische tips, ze reageert ontzettend snel en is zo vriendelijk. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen waardoor deze locatie een fijne uitvalsbasis is. Door het warme welkom en de gastvrijheid voel je je gelijk thuis. Als we weer in de buurt zijn komen we zeker terug.

What a great location. Beautiful sunrise looking out over the water with breakfast on the balcony was a highlight. Apartment located on the edge of Nidri within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes whatever you need. Ideal location for hiring a car, parking off street right in front of apartment and a great base for getting around the island. Flexible check-in was another bonus for this beautiful spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, for me, was that we didn't meet host. But loved the place.

Είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή ! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Η τοποθεσία ήταν ιδανική - κοντά σε εστιατόρια, καφέ και παραλίες. Το απόλυτο highlight ήταν η εντυπωσιακή βεράντα με την ιδιωτική πισίνα και την απίστευτη θέα που μας άφησε άφωνους - απολαύσαμε κάθε στιγμή εκεί, από το πρωινό καφέ μέχρι το βραδινό κρασί με θέα το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλόξενος και εξυπηρετικός, πάντα διαθέσιμος να απαντήσει σε ερωτήσεις και να προτείνει μέρη για επίσκεψη στην περιοχή. Η σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής ήταν εξαιρετική . Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε και το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά μια αξέχαστη διαμονή!

Ein wirklich besonderer Ort direkt am Meer mit eigenem Privatstrand – komplett eingezäunt, sodass unser Hund frei laufen konnte. Morgens den Kaffee auf dem Steg zu trinken, war ein echtes Highlight. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Wir waren zu zweit dort, aber es wäre problemlos auch für sechs Personen geeignet – mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und stets der Möglichkeit, natürlichen Schatten zu finden. Wir waren rundum begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great house! Gal is a kind and responsible host who took care of all our needs. The on-site manager Rea was kind and responsive. The location is breathtaking with pleasant and cozy restaurants just a few minutes away. We highly recommend Gal's house for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation.

Très bel appartement bien équipé et situé dans un environnement calme, dans un beau cadre et tout proche de la mer, Brad nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a donné envie de revenir.

This wonderful secret hide-away on this gorgeous island has all you could hope for for the perfect getaway. Bright, airy and spotlessly clean, the villa is wonderful. The pool is refreshing and perfectly maintained and just a few moments away lie two pristine beaches. Aimilia is the perfect host: very kind and has thought of everything. All amazing!

If looking to come to Kavos, I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. From the moment we booked, Grigoris was in contact with us straight away and made us feel completely at home. Sandy beach was an amazing place to stay. Not only was Grigoris helpful but everyone else that worked there too was outstanding. The food was amazing, the cleaners were brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our first time travelling to Greece and Grigoris really made us feel at home. The facilities around Sandybeach are amazing too. There is a beach with sun loungers, a shop across the street and a nearby ATM. The room we had was very clean and the cleaners were there every morning to have clean towels for us and to change the bins. The bed linen was very clean and you couldn’t have asked for a better room. Overall I want to thank Grigoris so much for his brilliant hospitality and when I come back to Kavos again I will definitely be booking to stay in Sandybeach. Yamas Grigoris!

We had a lovely few days. The villa, one of three, shares two pools with exceptional views. Valantis’s mother greeted us and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable, even bringing us home baked goodies and home grown fruit. An easy walk into the town by the beach path and we took the option of getting taxis back at a cost of €8. We took note of the recommendations Valantis gave and discovered Vathiavali beach and Mitikas which is a very picturesque Greek village and worth a visit. All in all, a lovely few nights in a great villa in a beautiful town.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Gialos villas 2. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen. De tuin en privacy is fantastisch en op loopafstand van een mooi strandje. In mei is het in Makris Gialos nog erg rustig en niet alles is open, wij vonden dat erg prettig. Ismini is heel flexibel en denkt mee, ook lief dat ze aan ons kindje van 2 jaar heeft gedacht; babybed, kinderstoel, slabbetje, plastic servies, zelfs peppa big limonade! Fijn dat schoonmaak in overleg kon. Het enige dat voor ons wat lastiger was, is dat 1 slaapkamer boven is (met een tweepersoonsbed) en de andere beneden (met 2 enkele bedden). We wilden ons zoontje niet alleen beneden laten slapen, dus hebben wij in 2 aparte bedden beneden geslapen die helaas vrij hard waren. Het tweepersoonsbed boven was een stuk beter. Het huis is verder van alles voorzien en het was een erg prettig verblijf. Hopelijk tot een volgende keer, dank je wel Ismini!

Our stay at Spiros’s house was incredible! While the house is lovely and spacious the outside space and views make this an 11/10 stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole house was spotless. Paxos was wonderful, with lots to do, good food, and easy access to beaches and activities. Spiros was incredibly kind, considerate and the most generous host I’ve ever met. I cannot recommend his house enough and feel very lucky to have met him and had such a wonderful stay. Ευχαριστώ, Spiros. See you again soon!!

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν καλύτερο και από τις φωτογραφίες. Η κουζίνα ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένη με καθαρά σκεύη και αρκετές φορές φάγαμε στο σπίτι. Η πισίνα ήταν καθαρή, με ιδανικό μέγεθος και βάθος μέχρι τους ώμους. Εννοείται θα ξαναπάμε!

Ήταν όλα υπέροχα. Ο χώρος και η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος είναι ιδανικά. Η οικοδέσποινα είναι άμεσα διαθέσιμη για ότι χρειαστούμε. Πολύ φιλικό και ζεστό κλίμα. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Nous avons deux bébés d’un an et demi tout est adapté (barrière, lit, chaise, jouets) La cuisine est vraiment très équipé ! Georges et Rania sont très accueillant gentils et réactif. La mer est au bout du jardin un restaurant pas très loin du logement ainsi que le port de pêche. Je vous conseille tout de même un véhicule pour les autres déplacements. Encore merci à Rania et Georges pour leur hospitalité.

Thoroughly recommend Kate's home for a relaxing and peaceful stay in nature. It was a really lovely authentic experience with the friendly family feeding the animals and beautiful walks to the beach. The home had everything needed for some self catering and was also very close to Lefkada for easy trips into town to try out restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and well apportioned and the outdoor shower was very helpful for washing beach things. We struggled to find it due to local road closures but the map and recommendations Kate provided really helped us make the most of our stay! Book it if you love nature, being away from the crowds but close to the town for everything you need.

We love Lefkada and we loved our stay at the villa! George was super helpful and quick to respond. The private water access and the lawn/beautiful garden were the main highlights. The view is lovely all hours of the day. The villa is conveniently located. Highly recommended!

I am very fussy. I spend hours perusing AirBnB looking for the perfect place.. THIS IS IT. Aspasia and her mother really care about their guests in a natural unobtrusive way. They are very special. The apartment is stylish but does not compromise on looks for comfort. It is very comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided. All basic cooking provisions and some lovely surprises! The sea is right outside and it is possible to swim there but a two minute walk along the edge of the sea will take you to a gently shelving sand/shingle beach where you can easily enter the sea. The sea was beautifully clear and we saw lots of fish. We stayed a week and had a hire car to go around the island (recommended). We are out in the taverna's close to the apartment every night and really enjoyed them. if you are looking to stay in Lefkada - Stay here.

Gosh - what a find! We loved our stay here. We spent hours swimming in the clear blue sea that is just a few metres from the property and then chilling in one of the very many seating areas provided over several terraces. The hosts provided clear directions to reach the house and Eleni was there on arrival to greet us and show us around. The house is very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were spotless. There was plenty of room for our belongings too. As Eleni said to us when we arrived, it’s an outdoor house and this is where you spend most of your time. The outdoor area has so many seating and table areas you are spoiled for choice. There is also an outdoor kitchen although we didn’t do any cooking here as there are several excellent tavernas within easy walking distance. If you like freshly grilled fish, you have found your place! We would definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend it to friends. Thank you Eleni and Nicklaus!

We had a lovely time at Theodora’s house. Both she and her husband were very kind and offered us fresh fruits, eggs and other treats that made us feel like home. Vrachos beach is a large beach and the sea was great. Moreover it is at a walking distance from the house, which made our stay with the kids there even easier. I would totally recommend Theodora’s house to anyone who would like to have some peaceful time by the sea and enjoy swimming.
