House vacation rentals in Vouves

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

We hebben als gezin twee fantastische weken gehad in Villa Emanuelle. Het was een fantastisch verblijf waar met liefde en aandacht van de host alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd was. Altijd bereikbaar voor tips en bijzonder behulpzaam in de voorbereiding. Niets was te veel en zelf een gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. de Kreteense gastvrijheid in optima forma. Met recht een parel van een villa!

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

Stunning location, very well kept, outside spaces are beautiful. Nice and private in terms of other villas in the area. A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

Our family of five had an unforgettable stay here! The home was spotless, beautifully restored, and had everything we needed. The village is incredibly picturesque, the locals were kind, and the overall hospitality was second to none. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring nearby attractions. The pool was a huge hit with our kids, and the views of the mountains and sea were stunning. What made it truly special were our hosts—Kostas and Nantia went above and beyond. They arranged a meal for our late arrival and offered fantastic local tips that made our trip even better. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend! Did I mention how gorgeous the home is…

We had a lovely week at Mihaelis's place with its spectacular setting and views of the sea to the north and the magnificent mountains to the south. An added treat was the ight of a golden eagle frequently soaring above and even watching it swoop down and even land in an olive grove about 100 yards away. The drive is steep but manageable and there's plenty of space indoors and outdoors while the Romantza cafe-restaurant just a five minute walk away is a real gem and very friendly. We did have an issue with the sink in the bathroom of the master bedroom where the drainage fitting broke and despite their efforts they were unable to fix but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay, the pool was great and dining al fresco was a delight.

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

Wir hatten für eine Woche die Unterkunft gebucht und unsere Erwartungen wurden definitiv übertroffen. Die Unterkunft ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und Georgia ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann sie für alles fragen und bekommt direkt eine Rückmeldung. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr toll. Man hat einen kleinen Hafen, viele tolle Strandrestaurants und auch einen Kies/Sandstrand paar Meter weiter. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Jeden empfehlen, der ein tolles AirBnB und einen unvergesslichen und schönen Urlaub haben möchte!

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

Dit is zo’n plek die je nooit meer vergeet. Wauw wauw wauw! Het uitzicht is echt geweldig; in het groen, tussen de rotsen met uitzicht op zee. Er is niemand in de buurt en je hebt echt een huisje voor jezelf en dat op een heel mooi stukje Kreta. Het is slim om boodschappen te doen op de heenweg (in de keuken vind je alles om te koken en er is een barbecue), want een grote supermarkt is bijna een half uur rijden en de taverne in het dorpje is voor overdag top, maar ‘‘s avonds wil je die donkere route op losse stenen niet nemen (dat weggetje is sowieso even wennen, maar te doen). Heb je zin in een paar dagen even helemaal uitchecken? Dan is dit echt de plek. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Many wonderful things to say about Casa Polymnia. Quaintly situated in the small town of Topolia, this mountain getaway was perfect for our first time spent in Crete. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. Amazing skyline views, a well stocked kitchen, stone bedroom, and courtyard! Easy parking in town. You’ll find amazing walkable restaurants ran by kind hosts whom will offer you raki with every meal :) We loved the food. The neighbors and locals showed us exceptionally warm hospitality. Casa Polymnia was peaceful respite for reading, writing, and relaxation. Don’t forget to check out the Agia Sofia cave located just south, and the Workshop Tsouris located just north. As well as any nearby beaches. Konstantina was highly responsive, super informative, and very helpful with local recommendations. Thank you 🙏

Als we dit huis in één woord moeten omschrijven: wauw! Wat een fantastische plek. Het huis zelf, de jacuzzi… alles klopt. Als je echt even wilt ontsnappen aan de drukte, is dit absoluut een topkeuze. Binnen 10 minuutjes ben je bij heerlijke beachclubs, bij leuke restaurants of in het uitgaansleven, precies wat je zoekt tijdens een vakantie als je het ons vraagt. De fruitbomen rondom het huis zorgen voor een gevoel van rust. Echt prachtig! We vonden het oprecht jammer om hier weg te gaan, maar we komen zeker nog eens terug. Ook een groot compliment voor de eigenaar: wat een service! We waren iets vergeten, en hij heeft er alles aan gedaan om het terug bij ons te krijgen. Nogmaals ontzettend bedankt voor de fijne service en het geweldige verblijf. Tot snel! Bennie

We had a glorious two weeks at Niko's place. For the first time at AirBNB it felt like we're were guests at a friends home. All of the promised essentials were provided in generous quantities - Niko's home grown fruit and veg were a particular treat and provided in such generous quantities that we couldn't eat them all. The place is simple but with all the equipment that you could need. The terrace a delight to enjoy the sun and the bathing spot a treat. Niko has landscaped a most wonderful extended garden which made the whole property just beautiful!

Een prachtige accommodatie in een mooie omgeving waar je heerlijk tot rust kunt komen. Het huis kwam echt overeen met de beschrijving en de foto’s. Dit is niet altijd het geval. Je zit ongeveer 10 autominuten van Paleochora.

The place was great, an easy drive to Chania, Kissamos, and other little villages along the coast. The bed was comfortable and I loved that I was able to do laundry during my stay. There was a bowl of fresh fruit and some beers in the fridge upon my arrival which was a nice touch. Be aware the driveway is steep and narrow, it was nice to have a spot to park my car, just took some getting used to going up and down. I would definitely recommend this place!

Eleftherios ist ein sehr sympathischer, hilfsbereiter und toller Gastgeber! Das kleine Haus ist meist gut beschattet inmitten eines Olivenhaines gelegen. Man kann von der Terasse aus Maulbeeren pflücken, etwas weiter gibt es frische Orangen und Zitronen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur schön, sondern darüber hinaus auch sehr wohlüberlegt eingerichtet. Neben der guten Isolierung, bei der auch ein kurzer Einsatz der Klimaanlage entsprechend kühlt, dem Fliegengitter vor dem großen Schlafzimmerfenster, der Bluetooth box, der großen Terasse mit schönem Ausblick auf den Olivenhain, sind es die kleinen, wohlüberlegten Dinge, die einfach Freude bereiten. Angefangen von scharfen, kleinen Messern, über Mückenschutz, Kaffee, Waschmittel, gutes Duschgel, Orangenpresse, guten Kochuntensilien... Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage!

Ein absoluter Traum! Diese Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – von der Ausstattung über die liebevolle Einrichtung bis hin zur herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Ksenia und Giannis. Alles ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen fühlt. Ein echtes Highlight war die Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer – morgens mit dem Rauschen der Wellen aufwachen, abends mit diesem Panorama den Tag ausklingen lassen… unbezahlbar! Besonders schön war auch die Nähe zur gemütlichen Taverne, die von der Gastgeberfamilie betrieben wird. Dort herrscht dieselbe warme, offene Atmosphäre wie in der Unterkunft. Wir haben dort wunderbare Abende mit köstlicher traditioneller, regionaler griechischer Küche, live - Musik und ganz viel Herzlichkeit verbracht. Ein Ort, an den wir mit einem Lächeln zurückdenken – und an den wir definitiv wiederkommen möchten. Tausend Dank für alles!

Such a beautiful spot, close to touristy Platanias, but peaceful and quiet at the same time. Telios! Perfect location if you’ve got a car and want to explore, everything in the Chania region is within an hour or so drive. And honestly, even the drives themselves are stunning. Crete’s landscapes are absolutely breathtaking. The house is spotless, the kitchen’s fully equipped, and the hammock? Absolute great. There are fresh oranges and lemons in the garden too, such a treat! Stelios is super helpful and makes sure everything’s just right for you. I really enjoyed my stay here. If you’ve got car and want to see a lot, this is the perfect base. Also great for kids, there’s the cutest little treehouse in the garden!

We had a lovely stay at Nikos’ place in Rodovani. It’s well off the beaten path and we particularly enjoyed the tranquil setting in a small mountain village on the south coast. Nikos greeted us although we arrived well after midnight. There is a lovely village store right across the town square and good tavernas close by. Plenty of hiking options around and the sea only 15 min away. The house is renovated tastefully and we particularly enjoyed the big terrace overlooking the valley and mountains.

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing home, literally about 20 steps away from the beach. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. It looks brand new! The host had fresh fruits, delicious cakes, pastries, still and sparkling water in the fridge, bags of ice in the freezer and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us at check in, which was an amazing experience! Best Airbnb host ever! The villa had a private rooftop deck that was the ultimate place to relax and unwind, while offering an amazing view of the Sea of Crete. The rooftop also has a very big jacuzzi, dinning table, seating and loungers. I forgot to mention that the neighborhood has restaurants and shopping in both directions. You will definitely be happy with this place.
