Greetings from Mark and Maria. We provide Canadian - Norwegian hospitality and experienced local knowledge about the beautiful region of Voss. Our location is about 10-15 min drive from town, overlooking Lønavatnet lake with prominent mountain views. It is a short driving distance to outdoor attractions such as golf, historic sites and hiking trails. Tvinnefossen, Voss Active and two great ski resorts are also near. Our 85m2 basement apartment is spacious and comfortable for up to four people.

Nice mountain hikes around Krokavatnet, Grønlivatnet, up to Skamdalshorgi, Høgahorgi. From the road: 300m to go up - not suitable if breathing problems. About 20 min drive to Voss. Water from the stream or melted snow and a reserve of filtered drinkable water. Electricity. Wood stove. Electric toilet.

Granvin er godt tilrettelagt for vandring i skog og fjell. -20 min til Voss som handelssenter for regionen. -20 min til Ulvik med Hauge senteret og siderproduksjon. -30 min til Eidfjord med Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen og flott natur. -30 min til Kinsarvik og Mikkelparken, Hardanger feriepark. -15 min til Kvanndal med sherpa-trapper til Kvanndals-stølen. Vestland idyll with a view to the lake and snowy mountains, and often farm animals around the house. Simple and authentic standard, fantastic view. Heggland Gardsbruk is a family farm that produces organic vegetables and our goats graze on the hills around the farm. 30 minutes from Voss, 15 minutes from Gudvangen. Hansastova is one of two houses on the farm, and the landlord lives in the other house. Steep dirt road up from the E16.

Wonderful large house at Voss

Vi var deltagere på LS, og dette var midt i blinken for oss. Ingen ting å utsette på noe. Rett og slett bare en enormt fin uke. Anbefales😊

I was looking for accommodation near to the resorts of Voss and Myrkdalen. I hired a car at the airport and drove, Voss was 30mins and Myrkdalen was 50mins so for me ideally placed. Bridget even helped me plan my day off and the public transport to and from my Fjord cruise. I was made very welcome using the family room and felt at ease whether integrating with the whole family or just sat reading my book. Jason the pet dog was a joy but feel that not being into dog's would not have been a problem. I didn't have an evening meal with the family but did use the kitchen to prepare my own food. The breakfast was very good and varied. I recycle all i can at home in the UK but was impressed by their system. Parking was easy being just outside.

This was one of my fave places to stay in Norway! A lovely home in the countryside, surrounded by natural beauty, walking distance to the nearest village and bus stop. Marit and Steiner were warm and helpful to the extreme , and I particularly loved meeting their beautiful big doggie. I look forward to returning one day!

appart 14 a l'étage. la vue "carte postale". c'était magnifique. rien que pour la vue ça vaut le coup. le jacuzzi et sauna était aussi un plus. pour le reste de l'appartement, il manque beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine et de couverts. l'espace douche est très étroite. nous étions pratiquement tout seul, donc les parties communes étaient vraiment agréables. Alvik est très sympa comme village et beaucoup de choses à voir autour en voiture.

We had a great stay in Vossevangen! The home was beautiful—super clean, updated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt new and well cared for. Check-in was easy, and the location was perfect: right in town, close to everything, including the park. Despite being so central, it was peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the home had everything we needed. Highly recommended—we’d love to stay here again someday!

Everything was just as described, everything went well! The drive up to the house is a little adventure (but absolutely manageable, even with big cars) and really beautiful!

Ailin’s place was really nice. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s also about 60 seconds walking to Voss station which was super convenient. The host and co-host were easy to communicate with and helpful. Whenever I’m back in Voss I’d definitely stay here.
