There is nowhere to go - 800 meters to Lake Pabra and on the other shore of the lake is already Russia. You can see moose, wild boars, foxes and border guards, otherwise you are completely on your own. At night, with clear skies, the Milky Way comes so close that you feel part of it and you can hear your own heartbeat. Winters are snowy and cold - but the house is warm. Summers are hot and mid-summer is full of midges. You are in Kossa.
