The house is situated at the main road with quick access to all necessary shops. Taxis and public transport are running frequently on this main road. The walking distance to the town centre is approximately 15-20 minutes from the house, depending on your speed and ability to withstand the heat. Ernest is a superb host with an incredible knowledge about his hometown and surrounding area. He is also very friendly and proactive in regards of finding a suitable solution to any occurring problem. Furthermore, he provided us with great tips regarding the local sights (Wli Waterfalls and Mount Afadjato) The house is in a great condition . It is clean, well maintained and accommodates all necessary amenities such as a fridge, TV and Internet. The kitchen is relatively new and fun to use due to its space and utilities. I recommend this airbnb to anyone planning to visit Hohoe

This is really a diamond in the rough. A little paradise tucked away in a place you wouldn’t expect it. A beautiful place, very well maintained and clean and just so much beautiful colors and decoration. But the host is the main character. Yaw is very friendly, wonderful cook and just such a nice man to talk to. He makes you feel at home. I can recommend everybody to stay here if you are visiting the area. Thanks for the great time we had here.

Så smukke omgivelser – både de udendørs arealer med blomster, påfugle og æsler, hytterne og den fredelige udsigt over floden. Der er også et rigtig fint galleri med værker fra lokale kunstnere. Har man brug for en rolig weekend væk fra Accra, er dette stedet. Maden smager godt, og priserne er fair – især deres Jollof-ris kan varmt anbefales! Aktiviteterne virker lidt pricy, men vi havde en rigtig god “island trip”. Vores guide David var dygtig og besvarede alle vores spørgsmål om natur og kultur. Det kunne være spændende at gå lidt længere og se mere af øen, men det er en smagssag – og det skal selvfølgelig passe med landsbyens rytme. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt – vi fik bl.a. hjælp til at blive hentet og afleveret ved bussen. Det er en god idé at informere dem, hvis man ankommer med offentlig transport, så de kan guide én til det rette stoppested. Vi satte også stor pris på, at de uden problemer lod os rykke vores booking en dag frem. Håber at komme tilbage en dag!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ot was the perfect location for the events that we were attending so all worked out well. Everyone was happy with their rooms.. it was funny though because the beds are really firm but after walking around at the festival all day and a concert that night the beds ended up being wonderful for us all it was exactly what we needed we woke up feeling good and refeeshed. The staff was very helpful and frim start to finish Michael was very accommodating. We will for sure be returning next time we'll bring food lol we didn't get to use the kitchen or the pool lol. Also check out Michael's YouTube channel I've been following him for a couple of years now.. it was a pleasant surprise seeing him as the host.

I can totally recommend this place to everybody. You are living in a place with some other people who are all really friendly. You have a nice kitchen and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Also the host Robert, is very friendly and really nice to talk too.

A wonderful peaceful place, perfect for a retreat. Dave wasn't round. But Patience and Deborah were wonderful hosts. The place is at the edge of Ada Foah. Delicious Breakfast and Meals are provided and freshly cooked by order.

Beautiful location and hospitality. The views of the river are amazing. Extremely good value for money and Fidel and Tina were exceptional hosts. Can’t wait to return and explore more of this wonderful region…. Will definitely stay at Lakeside Serene Lodge again!
