The house is situated at the main road with quick access to all necessary shops. Taxis and public transport are running frequently on this main road. The walking distance to the town centre is approximately 15-20 minutes from the house, depending on your speed and ability to withstand the heat. Ernest is a superb host with an incredible knowledge about his hometown and surrounding area. He is also very friendly and proactive in regards of finding a suitable solution to any occurring problem. Furthermore, he provided us with great tips regarding the local sights (Wli Waterfalls and Mount Afadjato) The house is in a great condition . It is clean, well maintained and accommodates all necessary amenities such as a fridge, TV and Internet. The kitchen is relatively new and fun to use due to its space and utilities. I recommend this airbnb to anyone planning to visit Hohoe

This is really a diamond in the rough. A little paradise tucked away in a place you wouldn’t expect it. A beautiful place, very well maintained and clean and just so much beautiful colors and decoration. But the host is the main character. Yaw is very friendly, wonderful cook and just such a nice man to talk to. He makes you feel at home. I can recommend everybody to stay here if you are visiting the area. Thanks for the great time we had here.

Such beautiful surroundings – the outdoor areas with flowers, peacocks and donkeys, the cottages and the peaceful view of the river. There is also a really nice gallery with works by local artists. If you need a quiet weekend away from Accra, this is the place. The food tastes good and the prices are fair - especially their Jollof rice is highly recommended! The activities seem a little pricey, but we had a really good “Iceland trip”. Our guide David was skilled and answered all our questions about nature and culture. It could be exciting to go a little further and see more of the island, but it's a matter of taste – and of course it has to fit with the rhythm of the village. The staff was very helpful – we got help to be picked up and dropped off at the bus. It's a good idea to inform them if you arrive by public transport, so they can guide you to the right stop. We also really appreciated that they let us move our booking forward one day without any problems. Hope to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ot was the perfect location for the events that we were attending so all worked out well. Everyone was happy with their rooms.. it was funny though because the beds are really firm but after walking around at the festival all day and a concert that night the beds ended up being wonderful for us all it was exactly what we needed we woke up feeling good and refeeshed. The staff was very helpful and frim start to finish Michael was very accommodating. We will for sure be returning next time we'll bring food lol we didn't get to use the kitchen or the pool lol. Also check out Michael's YouTube channel I've been following him for a couple of years now.. it was a pleasant surprise seeing him as the host.

I can totally recommend this place to everybody. You are living in a place with some other people who are all really friendly. You have a nice kitchen and a nice balcony. Everything is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Also the host Robert, is very friendly and really nice to talk too.

Great place, clean with good facilities. impressed with there water filtration system. Staff were very helpful. Affordable. only Negative was some young guest making noise. besides that the lodge itself was great. Just know the booking is per room not the entire lodge. no complaints.

Beautiful location and hospitality. The views of the river are amazing. Extremely good value for money and Fidel and Tina were exceptional hosts. Can’t wait to return and explore more of this wonderful region…. Will definitely stay at Lakeside Serene Lodge again!
