North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. norderdiekhuus is a light-flooded thatched roof house, directly on the dike and within walking distance to the beach, located on the edge of St. Peter-Ording. Breathe in and take a seat: in the upholstered armchair on the wooden terrace, on the bench in the floor-to-ceiling window, in the armchair by the fireplace or in our outdoor sauna at the edge of the meadow.
