Go mountain hiking right from the door to Keipen or other mountain hikes in the Sunnmørsalpene. Enjoy a short distance to popular destinations such as Loen, Geiranger, Briksdalen and Ålesund. The cabin is only 10 minutes from the Folkestad ferry.

Sæbø center, Sunnmørsalpene and Hjørundfjorden

Cozy house with garden and terrace in the middle of Sæbø center, surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, overlooking Hjørundfjorden and the magnificent mountains Saksa and Slogen. There is walking distance to two grocery stores, niche stores, hotels, campsites, fjord sauna and a small sandy beach with a common barbecue/outdoor area. The bus, shuttle boat and ferry Sæbø-Leknes/Urke are within walking distance. Sæbø is a good starting point for simple to spectacular mountain hikes. In season you can fish salmon in Bondalselva (fishing license can be bought in the shop)

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

The boarding school at Holmøy Utigard

Welcome to the old boarding school at Holmøy Utigard! The building has a long history as a boarding school for the former Holmøy Arbeidsskule which is located in the same yard. The standard is simple and a little worn, but has lots of charm and plenty of space. Utigard is very centrally located, within a radius of 1h you can experience Stryn (climbing park, etc.), Briksdalsbreen glacier, Loen (Loen skylift, Lekeland, etc.), Nordfjordeid (Viking center, etc.), Volda. It is 10 min to the nearest grocery store located in Hornindal.

Sæbøneset farm is located in Hjørundfjorden in Ørsta municipality. "Gamlehuset" is centrally located on the farmyard, and is equipped with all the amenities you need. The courtyard has no through traffic. The farm is located close to the sea and has its own harbor, boathouse, campfire area, etc., and is within walking distance to Sæbø center.

Here you can enjoy a rural setting with a short distance to the hiking trails for the mountains, relax on the terrace, fishing, or take a walk on Folkestadsetra with good swimming and barbecue possibilities. If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. A quiet place among fjords and the Sunnmøre Alps

The cottage is completely on its own about 100 m from parking and road. Built-in power in the cabin. Incinerator toilet in the bathroom. By the car park is the own boat you can use on the beautiful Raustadvatnet, very good fish in the lake. Fishing licenses can be purchased at farm no. 2 at Rørstad from Kalvatn. Easy path up to the cottage, with gate and stairs last piece. Cozy outdoor area with barbecue. Here you will find peace in the middle of nature with the Sunnmørsalps around it.

Kapteinåsen, Sæbø

Cozy holiday home with amazing views of Hjørundfjorden. Several patios/terraces, fire pit and barbecue. Outdoor jacuzzi for 5-6 people. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.

The apartment is brand new with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. French balconies and lovely views of fjords and mountains. Access to the lake. Very nice hiking terrain in the immediate vicinity. It takes about 12 min to walk to the city center or 2 min by car Short distance to airport, 10 min Volda is the perfect starting point for nice day trips to Ålesund, Geirangerfjorden, Briksdalsbreen, Hjørundfjorden, etc.
