This cozy little log cabin Granly has all the amenities and is secluded in rural surroundings on Sunnmøre. You can sit in the built-in jacuzzi all year round and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2 hours), Loen with Skylift (1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye (1 hour) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5 hours). Mountain hikes on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

Ørsta is known for its great mountains that are suitable for both hiking and skiing. Free parking. The bus station is 5mins away. To Ørsta/Volda airport it is 3 km.

The house is located 35 m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and shared barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø city center with grocery stores, niche shops, hotel and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50 m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if you want to rent a boat.

Within an hour driving your can reach Stryn, Loen, Stranda, Hellessylt, Volda, and Øye. And it is not fare from Ålesund. Stay for shorter or longer periods. In summer, Bakketunet is open to individual visitors with cultural programs and activities. Among other things, is the Indiefjord music festival. The knitting company Hjørundfjordstrikk AS is located here.

Sæbøneset gard ligg plassert i Hjørundfjorden i Ørsta kommune. "Gamlehuset" ligg plassert sentralt på gardstunet, og er utstyrt med alle fasiliteter du treng. Tunet har ingen gjennomgangstrafikk. Garden ligg like ved sjøen og har egen havn, naust, bålplass m.m., og er i gangavstand til Sæbø sentrum.
