Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vlagtwedde

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozily furnished house with plenty of space. A relief was the garden: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

A charming spot to enjoy nature and truly disconnect. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were two couples, and while the place felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! We had the best friends weekend. The house and garden are beautiful and has everything you need. There were also games at the house. Pasja always responded really quick and helped, when we had a question. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We immediately felt comfortable in the small historic cottage. We would come back.

We had a lovely stay at Joop and Thea's place. Everything was as described and clean. The hot tub and the fire place were definitely highlights and we would love to stay at this place some time again. Highly recommend.

This cottage is a very special place. It is located in the middle of the forest, quiet, surrounded by birdsong, even deer have met us. It's just nice and especially to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the surroundings. I am very grateful for all the amenities we found: Everything is really thought of. Kitty and Erik's place was great, and very helpful. Thank you. The house had lots of amentities and we felt at home. Plenty of space and the back garden was useful, as Kitty and Erik allowed us to store our bikes there. The house was well situated in Groningen as it was a walk away from centre, and plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Nice. Groningen was a great city, plenty to do and fabulous area for cycling.

Perfect location. Very friendly welcome. Apartment in great condition. Bathroom very nice and new. Kitchen very well equipped.

Fresh croissants were ready to welcome you.😍 The room is idyllic and quiet, right next to a historic mill, just 10 minutes by bike, which are provided on site, from downtown. In the kitchen there is everything you need. Overall a very nice stay. We would come back.

A great place with lots of lovely details throughout the house and a fantastic garden. Quite quiet, but you can quickly get to Dangast and the Wadden Sea. Communication with Anja was always quick and clear. Great that we were allowed to vacation in this little spot on earth.

We enjoyed staying in the small, cozy cottage at Niek and Joke's again. The garden is very nice and it is always interesting to watch the chickens in the barn.

We had a fantastic time with Astrid and Chris! Everything was possible and nothing was too crazy! We enjoyed the house, the sweet dogs, the heated pool, the hot tub, the pizza hut and the great welcome and all the coziness! It is a lovely house and with nice sofas and great fireplace and cozy decor. We are very grateful for this fantastic family weekend together. Thank you!!

It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't sit inside much. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

What a peaceful, relaxing place! Very private, spacious and super clean. The hosts were very responsive. And the saunas are fantastic!! Easy 5 min bike ride into the beautiful town and to the supermarket. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had a nice stay! The children especially enjoyed the playground. The house was well equipped and even with 30 degrees it was good inside in terms of temperature. With the heat, it is also very nice to take a dip in the pool.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

I would happily recommend this property for anyone to stay at. Even just walking onto the property we found it to be stunning! So beautiful and artistic inside and out. We especially loved the fully stocked kitchen and made a beautiful meal that we ate together at the table. So gezellig!
