The gite is perfect, everything you need for an ideal stay, the swimming pool is a perfect size for a little one and also is you want to do a few lengths. The garden and barn is spectacular, the perfect space to escape from the heat and eat in a beautiful place. The hosts, Sue and Paul, are so accommodating and so very welcoming, it’s been the best stay and we did not want to go home!! We have already booked to come back, an amazing stay 👍👍👍👍

Very large house, very well-equipped. There were 8 of us and could have been 12 or 14 without a problem. The location is ideal if you are looking for a house in the countryside to rest or spend time with friends. It's so quiet that we had the chance to see a deer pass quietly in the garden one morning, without even noticing our presence. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, quality bedding, private bathrooms for 4 of them. The pool has an alarm. Very flexible check-in. You will be in the countryside and summer, so this implies the fairly significant presence of insects (no mosquitoes though!). Benoit has planned what is necessary to minimize their presence. We'll be back for sure.

Our stay at Sophie's was great! The house was impeccable and well-equipped with everything we needed. There were 7 of us and the space was very suitable, each bedroom had its own bathroom + toilet. Sophie was very accommodating. We highly recommend this listing!

Charming little farmhouse, with everything you need, impeccable bedding, clean. Jean Marie was very nice and helpful with great touches. Breakfast was great. Pleasantly surprised. We recommend without a second thought.

Antoine and Mélina are friendly hosts. communication was smooth, fast and simple. the accommodation is in the center but quiet. you can just hear the little birds singing and it's so nice. the accommodation is functional, everything is done to make you feel at home. everything is within walking distance of the accommodation. The regional booklets are very useful! we really recommend this accommodation and if the opportunity presents itself again we will come back.

The house is large and comfortable, the garden really enjoyed the children and the terrace very nice. The stay went well, we recommend it!

What a wonderful discovery for all of us (3 couples, 2 children aged 4 and 1 baby)! This house of character immediately seduced us with its spacious rooms and large garden. EVERYTHING is well thought out and provided to welcome us and make our stay unique. We had a family reunion there and spent 4 wonderful days, encouraging us to repeat this experience ("I want to do it again too," my 4-year-old granddaughter told us, "but in THIS HOUSE!"). We were also able to enjoy the surroundings with the little corners by the river where young and old could cool off, wade (at Pontreau) or swim (at Anché). Let's not forget to thank our hosts, Delphine and Thibaut, always available, responsive, simple and caring before, during and even after. Delphine, Thibaut, we enjoyed it and hope to be able to come back to your home. A huge THANK YOU for your attention!! Obviously I can only recommend this place.

Very welcoming hosts. The accommodation is in the middle of the farm which allows you to see the animals and discover them with the hosts who take with whom it is a pleasure to chat. I highly recommend this listing!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Absolutely amazing place, tastefully decorated, in an exceptional village. A lot of effort has been put into decorating, where well-being is. Being by the water with this view is just unimaginable. Just missing an oven (on the wall above the plates , my 2 cents) and a curtain in the room (hanging on the wall with rings, my 2 cents again). Truly an awesome experience.
