Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning should be done before you check out and should be thoroughly done, for example, vacuum, dry the floors, dust the bathroom and the kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included to the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

Fishing license must be purchased in the Affären i Lekvattnet electricity online at Ifiske. You can relax at the place or go on Finnskog's hiking trails, cross-country skiing in the middle of summer in the ski tunnel in Torsby, about 40 minutes to 2 alpine facilities (Hovfjället and Ski Sunne), We use the cottage very myself so please let me know before booking!!! Hike the 7 Torpsleden trail, about 10 km from the cottage. Go sledding directly on the property, ice skating or ice fishing in the winter! Ski on illuminated ski slopes just a few kilometers from the house. And there are miles of snowmobile trails around the corner!

Spacious holiday home with lake plot. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. A/C is available for hot days.

Directly outside the cottage, there are opportunities for biking, hiking or running. For those interested in golf, it is 4 km to Torsby's golf course. In winter, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.

Fantastic year-round cottage with lake views

The house overlooks the lake upper brocken. There's water on both sides of the house. It's a year-round cabin with heating cables on every floor. There are three bedrooms, 2 toilets, shower and sauna. The living room is high ceilings with kitchen and fireplace. The porch goes all around the house, so you can follow the sun and barbecue outside. At the campsite you can rent canoe, swimming,fishing or biking. In the autumn, mushrooms and berries can be picked. In winter there is ice fishing, snow scooter leads and skiing.

Some amusements located nearby are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round. If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan is recommended up on the mountain, to see the beautiful nature. With the beachfront location to Lake Velen, there are nice opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Boat available to hire.

Possibility of a wood-fired sauna with ice bath right by the lake for a low cost. Torsby skitunnel just 5 min away. Wintertime ski trails just around the corner if snow.
