I recommend it to those who want to relax, while remaining a short distance from Ljubljana, easily reachable in about 30 minutes by car.

The apartment is exactly as described and as the photos show. Everything was very clean. The views from the terrace are incredible. Vesna welcomed us and helped us bring the luggage into the apartment. However, you should be able to climb stairs well, because the path from the apartment to the parking lot from the car has about 90 steps. Thank you for the great time🙂

It was the perfect stay to explore Istria. Mara was a pure delight so very helpful with everything from local recommendations, washing and beautifully picked cherries! The apartment was beautifully presented and matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Close enough to motovun where we managed a few visits. Can highly recommend. A Truly Memorable Stay This apartment was an absolute dream! It was incredibly comfortable, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The space had everything we needed—cozy sleeping arrangements, a well-equipped kitchen, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. We arrived a bit late at night, but that wasn’t an issue at all. Our hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. We were greeted by Kristina’s husband, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Despite the late hour and the fact that everything nearby was already closed, he took the time to share local recommendations and even reached out to friends to check if anything was still open. When nothing was available, he generously offered us food and wine from his own home so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture,something that truly made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than just guests. This was more than just a place to sleep, it was a heartwarming experience.

This is a gorgeous renovation of a pretty stone barn with lots of style - a true architect's house. We loved the big windows upstairs, because it can be difficult to find homes in Italy with large windows and lots of natural light during the day. Federica has designed low lighting for evening throughout the house. It's very quiet at night, and we slept really well. The neighbours are all polite and respectful to each other, and to us as guests. It's wonderful to experience what it might feel like to really live in this part of Italy, which is very different to other parts. Federica is very responsive and helpful, and obviously a very good architect!

Very cozy house in a beautiful village! Everything super clean and in order. Jernej is extremely friendly and helpful, his tips were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and pleasant. Clear recommendation!

The Captains Lodge was an awesome place to stay. Right in a cute small town w small restaurants, a grocery store, and bike/kayak rentals all within walking distance. Lots of hikes and adventures nearby, about 15 minute drive to Bled. Cozy and clean cabin w full kitchen and upstairs comfortable sleeping quarters. The cabin is right on a river so outdoor space is beautiful with a hot tub, picnic table and lots of seating options, it even comes equipped with privacy shades. Natasa was helpful and responsive, she accommodated an early check in (last minute), gave us hiking and eating suggestions, and quickly and thoroughly answered any of our questions. Highly recommend as a cute, convenient, and unique place to stay!

Host was very helpful and accommodating, and the property is spacious and very clean. The view is stunning, and we loved our walk from the house through the flower meadows to the lake. We also enjoyed a number of other walks from the doorstep into the pristine countryside using our Cicerone Julian Alps of Slovenia guide book. Handy little supermarket a few minutes walk away and we enjoyed two evening meals in Gostilna Mihovc.

Gerda was very kind, and communication was absolutely smooth. The apartment was very cozy, clean, and perfectly located close to the lake. Even though we unexpectedly had to shorten our stay by one day, Gerda was very accommodating without any issues. I definitely recommend her as a host!

The apartment was less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station, and maybe just 3 minutes walk to where we could meet tour guides for our walking tours. Also there were plenty of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as well as a grocery store. The apartment was also exactly as described and depicted in the photos. We found it to be clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was also very well equipped, and we truly appreciated the large screen smart TV that could easily connect to our streaming services. The other nice amenity was the full service washer and dryer, allowing us to wash our clothes (as we were half way through our travels). Getting into the building and the apartment was a breeze, and using the smart pad to control the air conditioning and other electronics was also easy-peasy. It’s a great apartment and we’d love to stay there again, if we ever return to Ljubjana.

We loved our stay at Marusa’s beautiful home. The ideal location for travelling around the Slovenia. Quick drive to Bled, Lake Bohinj and the surrounding areas. 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Radovljica. Marusa and her family were lovely hosts, very responsive to our messages and made us feel at home. Apartment was very clean and functional. Would recommend to anyone travelling around Slovenia.

Our stay at Simona's in Braslovče was great! The Airbnb was perfectly located to explore the beautiful Savinja region. The surroundings with the green hills and picturesque landscapes are wonderful for hiking and biking. The apartment itself was spotless and offered all the amenities one could ask for: cozy and tastefully furnished, we immediately felt welcome.
