House vacation rentals in Vinton County

This Airbnb was absolutely incredible. Great location as well. The pool and games were so much fun, you will never be bored! The property is beautiful and well kept. Next time I come back to hocking hills, it will definitely be to this Airbnb!!

This was our second year at Beth’s house. Our whole team loves the house from the pool and hot tub to the kitchen and living rooms. One of the best places to stay in Chillicothe!

Stayed here with multiple families and kids and it was perfect!! The kids loved being on their own floor in the basement and every couple had their own bedroom! The common area was spacious and plenty of dining space!! We had an amazing time having game tournaments in the game area as well!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our visit to the Nelsonville Music Festival. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Very conveniently located about 10 minutes from both the festival and Athens. The pool was perfect for the hot weather, and we would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this Airbnb located a short walk to Court Street. The house is nicely set up for a comfortable stay. In addition there’s a beautiful heated pool and lounge area with a fire pit. And to top it all off there’s an unexpected full bar in the lower level complete with a VIP area. Amazing & fun!! P.S. the communication was great also and Bryan was a terrific host.

Many pros. Great location for hiking, rafting, Lake Logan pontoon rental. 15 min to Walmart in Logan if you need to resupply. LOVED the big wrap around porch. Plenty of outdoor furniture . We had 15 people, and enough lawn chairs for everyone. Pool was well kept up. Very clean. Enjoyed the fire pit. Plenty of beach and bath towels. But has washer and dryer if we wanted to wash them. 2 large outdoor grills. Cooking service ware was adequate, but I am glad we brought disposable plates and service ware. Would suggest bringing some additional toilet tissue and paper towels. ( again, we had 15 people). The major CON we had was the game room. None on the electronic games worked. ( basketball game and shooting game). Air hockey worked, but it sounded like a Boeing 747 taking off. So with mostly teenagers, we were disappointed in the game room. All in all, we would return to this home.

This house was as adorable in person as the pictures show. The record collection was such a fun touch that everyone enjoyed, the bathrooms are luxurious and the kitchen far exceeded our expectations. Pretty much the dreamiest stove I've ever used to make late-night mac and cheese! The spiral staircase is pretty tight, so I definitely wouldn't want to be going up and down with large heavy suitcases but the kids thought it was cool and were not deterred. Overall a great experience and we would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool and property more!

Mandi was very quick to respond even before the booking was confirmed! Extremely helpful and nice. Provided communication even during late hours. Booking with Mandi will always be a great experience. The property itself was perfect for a small family getaway. Prime location from the local winery. Property was very spacious and had a lot of amenities. You will not find a better property in the area!

Great place

This place exceeded our expectations in terms of space and comfortability! The pictures don't do it justice, but this was a perfect place for a large group. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, plus the game closet was a nice find when we had some down time. This Airbnb hosted a group of Michiganders coming in for the Southern Ohio Forest Rally and it was a great place to regroup after our long days and relax in the hot tub or play euchre all night at the dining table. Abigail was very responsive and accommodating especially during some unexpected issues in the area that was out of both of our control. She is a great host!

Beautiful surroundings and overall very peaceful, will be coming back year after year

The host was the most attentive we have ever had, we appreciate the thoughtful gestures that made us feel welcome. We had to leave early for a family emergency and they were very supportive. We will definitely come back!

We had family coming in from out of town and no room at our place, so we put them up in Velvet's beautiful manor. Check in was so easy, and everything was clean and beautiful! The location is incredibly convenient, just off the main road and just a few minutes from the Dollar General and also from Lake Alma. We will definitely be back!

What a great place to stay! Well appointed, private, quiet. House was pristine on arrival. This place feels like it is worth the money! Dean is very responsive, helpful, and provided outstanding communication throughout. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our needs, as we were attending an event in Wellston, Ohio. Convenient, clean, recently-renovated. Lack of a TV might be a concern for some, but we didn’t miss it as we were busy doing other things. With a robust Internet connection, you can stream anything needed.

We loved our stay at the Arthur! The property was beautiful and very peaceful and the details of the house were immaculate and very thought out. We enjoyed using the griddle for breakfast and dinner and we also loved that the property was pet friendly and there were even treats, a leash and dog bed available. David was kind and extremely responsive during our time here. Unfortunately, it was very hot during our stay so we did not get to travel to any hiking spots, but we hope to come back again to stay and explore around the area more! Overall, we are extremely thrilled with our stay and definitely recommend staying on this charming property.

We loved the quiet and the secluded street. Nice neighborhood that is truly local. Jackson was a great place to visit. We recommend the Spot on Main St. The house was great. Very well kept and very clean. The TV in the bedroom was not connected and did not connect automatically. We used our phone as a hotspot and that worked fine. Highly recommend this for 1-2 people. May be back to visit family nearby.

Fantastic location, very close to the parks and main road. The cottage smelled clean & fresh. The grill was ready to use and comfortable seating around the firepit. The bullfrogs sound very happy too. And of course, there were tons of fireflies at night.

Moonville Getaway was a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable home. The place was very clean, smelled good, and had nice cool air running when we came in which was right on time since there was a heat wave. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and supplies that we needed for cooking and grilling. Very nice shower and intimate hot tub. There were friendly neighborhood animals who kept us company when we were outside as well. I recommend this stay and would like to come back.
