(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

A newly built house of 50 sqm, which is part of a garage building (also a kennel) on our property. On the ground floor, there is a fully tiled toilet/shower with a washer/dryer, a bedroom with a double bed, and a kitchen, dining area, and living room in an open room. The loft can be used as a bedroom. South-facing balcony. It is located in the village of Skillingarum in Vimmerby. Here you live in the countryside with only 3.5 km to Vimmerby city center. You check in yourself, when it suits you after 3 pm. Smoking is not allowed, also applies outdoors.

Located only 600 meters from Vimmerby Camping where there is both a swimming area, playground, mini golf, restaurant and unmanned shop. To Vimmerby center where shops, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy and playland are located it is about 5 km and to Astrid Lindgren's World as well as Astrid Lindgren's Näs it is about 6 km.

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the middle of central Vimmerby. The farm Skuru is located near Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25 min drive to Astrid Lindgrens Värld Perfect for guests who want a quiet and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we have renovated a kitchen, groventré and laundry and also built a brand new bathroom downstairs. Here is close to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

The Drängstugan in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
