Hiekkaranta avautuu ilta-aurinkoon, tontti on aurinkoinen koko päivän. Talossa on harjoitettu vähittäiskauppaa 1906-1928 ja kylän Nahkuri on tehnyt Nastolan väelle nahasta tarvittavat asusteet. Lähellä on Pajulahden urheiluopisto seikkailupuistoineen ja palveluineen. Ruokakauppa sekä bussiyhteys kaupunkiin on vain 600 m.

Among others, Takkula Golf is located only three kilometers away. In the summer, there is a beach nearby, the nearby forest has a lot of nature trails, a walking track and a shed. In winter, the walking track turns into a ski track and the distance to the track is about 100 meters.
