Waterfront vacation rentals in Vila Real de Santo António

We had the pleasure of the staying at Rita’s place for a week in April 2025. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, the rooftop terrace with a bbq is perfect for dinner with fresh seafood from the local market. It was our 3rd visit to the Algarve region and Manta Rota is one of our favorite spots so far, we’d definitely return to Manta Rota and book the apartment again.

A nossa estadia foi excelente! O apartamento estava exatamente como descrito – super limpo, organizado e bem equipado. O Fran foi um anfitrião impecável, muito comunicativo e facilitou imenso o check-in e o check-out. A localização é perfeita, muito tranquila e ideal para quem quer fazer tudo a pé – praia, piscina, mercado, restauração… Mesmo em frente há um passeio extenso, ótimo para caminhadas e corridas. O staff do empreendimento também merece destaque: sempre disponíveis para esclarecer todas as nossas dúvidas. A área verde em redor da piscina surpreendeu pela positiva – bem cuidada, tranquila e perfeita para ler ou fazer uma sesta, muito mais bonita do que parece nas fotos. Apesar desta zona ser conhecida pelos mosquitos, foi tudo tranquilo; só usamos repelente uma vez no nosso pequenino, por precaução. Gostámos tanto da estadia que até pensámos prolongá-la por mais uns dias, mas infelizmente o apartamento já estava reservado. Até breve!

El apartamento de Patricia es perfecto para una estancia tranquila en Isla Canela. Está decorado con mucho gusto y perfectamente equipado, hasta el más mínimo detalle, y todo completamente nuevo y de calidad. Las vistas desde toda la casa son increíbles. No tuvimos mucha suerte con el tiempo pero solo con estar en el salón y disfrutar de esa vista del mar ya nos mereció la pena. Patricia estuvo un pendiente en todo momento de cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Desde luego este será nuestro apartamento de referencia para nuestras visitas a Isla Canela.

Wir haben zum 2. Mal unseren Urlaub in dieser tollen Strandwohnung verlebt und die Gastfreundschaft von Mark genossen. Die Wohnung liegt für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt: Zum einen liegt dieser wunderbare Praia da Falesia "vor der Tür", zum anderen erreicht man mit dem Auto schnell den Westen und den Osten Portugals, um andere wunderschöne Orte an der Algarve zu entdecken. Bars, Restaurants und Supermärkte liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe und es gibt auch eine hervorragende Cocktailbar mit Tapas, um einen schönen Sommerabend ausklingen zu lassen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

Es war eine sehr schöne Woche in Portugal mit einem klasse Apartement. Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön hell, sauber und absolut einladend. Hier kann man sich wirklich wie Zuhause fühlen ☺️ Die Gastgeberin ist wirklich klasse und sehr nett in der Kommunikation 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 10/10 und absolut empfehlenswert. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen !

Beautiful apartment, lovely quiet area. I loved the rooftop pool and view from our balcony was also lovely. Worth knowing you have to get a ferry to a beach. Worth hiring a car for a few days to explore other areas ie Tavira. And for shopping .

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

Our stay at this fully equipped Oceanview Villa in Albufeira was absolutely phenomenal! It is a true gem, perfectly situated just a short walk from the Albufeira Old Town. The breathtaking ocean views from the balcony and rooftop terrace were a highlight, making every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The pool was pristine and inviting, ideal for relaxing after exploring the beaches all day and the charming streets of Old Town. The villa itself is spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare meals. High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, stylish decor and cozy vibe. The host was incredibly responsive, offering local recommendations and ensuring a seamless check-in. Perfectly located for both beach access and exploring the Algarve, this villa is a dream for couples or families. I can’t recommend it enough, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Es war alles perfekt. Ein sehr schönes, komfortables Haus. Die Lage ist ideal, sehr nah an den Markthallen und der Promenade am Hafen. Jede Menge gute Cafés und Restaurants. Der Fähranleger zu den wunderbaren Inseln schnell erreichbar. Mit das schönste ist die wunderbare Aussicht von den Terassen, auf der einen Seite über die Dächer von Olhao und auf der anderen die Lagune, ein Traum! Alles bestens! Teresa konnten wir beim aus checken noch kurz treffen, sie ist sehr freundlich und sympathisch!

Great location with beautiful views. The walk to the beach was easy enough. Plenty of food options and shopping within walking distance. A lovely space for our time in Albufeira!

Ana's house was perfect for our stay in Tavira. The accommodation is well thought out and had everything we needed. With three outdoor seating areas, you can always find a sunny or shady spot, according to your preference. Tavira's attractions are within walking distance, as well as restaursnts, grocery shops and the market.

Ha sido todo un acierto haber elegido este alojamiento para descansar y disfrutar unos días con la familia. El alojamiento tiene absolutamente todo lo que necesitas y todo tipo de detalles para hacer de tu estancia lo mejor posible. Juan ha sido muy atento en todo momento y además muy agradable con las peticiones. Muy recomendable, además tiene una piscina cubierta que le encantó a los peques! Volveremos.

I can’t praise/recommend this property and Susana as our host enough, we were a group of 4 female friends travelling for a long weekend break away, from fantastic communication to flexible check in times, spotlessly clean apartment and complex, great accessories provided including pool towels and umbrella, everything is as described, the pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is much bigger than you expect with 2 balconies each side catching sunrise and sunset. We walked downhill to the marina and local supermarket/bar & restaurant and easily ordered Ubers back up to the complex, only costing a couple of Euros. An Uber into Old Town is just as easy to order costing approx 7€. The complex is very secure with gated/key access, it is quiet and respectful with a security guard walking round day and evening. We have had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Susana again, thank you so much.

Coup de coeur du séjour, appartement tres propre, une super belle terrasse avec vue sur l'océan. La plage est de l'autre coté de la rue, je vous le recommande vivement

Die Kommunikation mit Karine war perfekt und die Unterkunft sehr schön. Alles entsprach der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

The place was gorgeous, right next to the beach. The balcony was our favorite part about the apartment, we enjoyed every single evening there. Thank you for a little welcome package! Would definitely come back anytime in Albufeira.

Maura our host was really helpful and responded to all queries. She welcomed us at the arranged arrival time and talked us through everything we needed to know. The apartment was really lovely and spotlessly clean. Maura provided a list of recommendations such as places to visit and local restaurants and welcomed us with a selection of local produce. We would thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.
