House vacation rentals in Vila Real de Santo António

The villa is absolutely beautiful and everything has been thought about. It was so great to have two terraces - the main terrace on the ground floor is beautifully designed and gets the sun for most of the day, and the roof terrace is great for more privacy and to catch the evening sun with some stunning views! The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are really comfy and the house was spotlessly clean! Gisela was an extremely kind and responsive host to answer any questions we had. Its about a 20 minute walk into the town, in a really peacful neighborhood, which was perfect for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend! ❤️

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Amanda’s Villa. Had everything you needed for the stay - amazing amenities (especially in the kitchen). Was really accommodating for a larger group and we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend!!

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

We had a great stay, it’s a great place for peaceful relaxation. Plenty of outdoor space and the pool is great to cool off in.

We had a lovely week here , 9 adults , 4 small children. plenty of space for everyone . we loved the pool and the garden area.I would recommend this villa and would love to get the opportunity to return one day.

Just loved Sandra’s place. So peaceful and we felt right at home among the lemon trees. The bed was comfortable and the cooking facilities were perfect. You can walk to the little supermarket in about 10 minutes down a track which was perfect to collect fresh bread in the morning and give our little dog a walk off lead. Sandra and Miguel were always responsive to any questions we had. Tavira is about an 8 minute drive away and there’s a large free car park just over the bridge. It’s worth visiting Santa Luzia too which is about 18 minutes by car and also there’s lovely beaches in the opposite direction. The Quinta has a soul if its own - so enjoyed my morning yoga practise. A wonderful place to stay. ❤️❤️

An ode to Christian's house in Olhão: lovingly, stylishly and high-quality renovated house. It is absolutely central, yet quiet and has a great roof terrace. Reduction to the high-quality essentials: Without TV, grill, air conditioning and coffee machine (you don't need everything anyway), but with an exquisitely equipped kitchen to freshly process the purchases of the market hall just a stone's throw away (the best in the Algarve)! Free parking in the immediate vicinity is always available! Christian is a great, super sympathetic and helpful host who also bakes an exceptionally good sourdough bread, which he sells locally on a small market on Wednesdays. His housekeeper is not a pearl - she is a treasure! We definitely want to go back there!

We had a great week at Philippe’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great spot to explore Olhão. The roof terrace gets the sun from Midday and was a lovely place to enjoy a meal and a drink in the evening. Philippe was nothing but helpful and we’d stay again if ever back in town!

Beautiful modern well equipped house in quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the central market area with some lovely restaurants. The roof terrace is wonderful and you can sunbathe or chill in the shade whatever your preference. Responsive host. Would highly recommend.

We are just back from a week's stay and would highly recommend this house & would like thank Cristina & Salvador. The location is very central and close to all the restaurants / cafes & shops. Also it was a short walk to the boat out to Tavira Island & the Train station in Tavira which we recommend for day trips. Eating in was made all the easier with all the local fresh produce found at the market and the roof top terrace made for relaxing peaceful evenings.

We booked Teixeira House for a full six week Spring stay, and could not have been more pleased with our decision. The size was perfect, the location was perfect, and Pedro was fantastic on his communications. There is a wonderful tapas wine bar right across the street that became our go-to relaxation spot. The home is also within easy walking distance to the bus station and train station, which made side trips to other places in the Algarve easy. Pedro was very quick in his responses to any questions that we had, and he also provided excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

Absolutely loved Mona & Matthias' house. It's quirky, quaint, superbly situated and spotless. Everything you can possibly need is available and lots of things you wouldn't even think of. Been to Tavira many times, love the place and loved this house.

We have rented Casa Sturdust which we have upgraded from one of the cottages as our friends decided to join. The house , the garden the whole set up is truly magical. Agni and Kuba are interesting, kind and generous hosts and incredibly helpful. The beaches are breathtaking, the food is incredible, weather was perfect. For 6 year old curious girl and 2.5 year old active boy the garden is save heaven full or little quirky spots for them to play independently,while us still being able to keep an eye on them. The other guests have been also delight - friendly & respectful with kids making new friends to hang out. It was by far the best family holiday we had. As an interior designer I can confirm Kuba's and Agnes place is not an ordinary house but beautifully crafted, one of its kind home. Cats were added bonus as well as lost parrot - we named him happy- who landed and stayed with us ( now found a new home with Agni and Kuba) . We are already planning to return next year. Thank you.

We have stayed in Vilamoura/Quarteria for over 10 years, this time we returned with our 10 month old son so we wanted to stay somewhere that suited our needs a bit better than a typical hotel/apartment and this hidden gem did not disappoint. The villa was perfect (maybe a little bigger than expected from photos) & I couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect location to Vilamoura marina with just a short walk, cant believe we haven't come across it sooner. We will defo be back! Loved it.

Really nice little house with pool! Great with children and very calm area. Be aware that you drive ~25 minutes to the beach from Furnazinhas.

We loved our short stay at Casa Boa Vista. The weather was great for February, so we even got to use the pool. The beautiful views definitely do justice to the name of the house! Communication with Gabriele and the managers went smoothly. Very friendly and always available. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home Gabriele. Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.

Maria Teresa's house met expectations: super beautiful and well maintained, in a very quiet area, close to everything on foot and with everything we needed. The terrace is excellent for outdoor dining. We were all very satisfied with our stay and sorry we couldn't stay longer :)

Absolutely loved our stay in Tavira The place was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and perfectly located. The host was super responsive. The outdoor space of the apartment is amazing and the amenities were top-notch. The neighborhood was charming with plenty of great eats and drinks nearby. Can't recommend this spot enough – would definitely book again in a heartbeat!
