We stayed at Filipe's place for a week, and our experience was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is in new condition. The appliances and TV are new and everything works perfectly. The beds are great...we slept better than we do at home. It was quiet and peaceful, which also facilitated a relaxing environment. Included is a space for parking if you are coming by car. Filipe was a great host. He answered our questions both before and after we arrived and checked in on us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay with Filipe again when we are in the Viseu area.

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

Very friendly host and always available to help when needed. House equipped with the necessary utensils and included a stove for cooking meals. Very pleasant and quiet surrounding area, ideal for resting. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days that were felt. When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

My 6-night stay was absolutely fantastic! The apartment itself is beautiful, was spotlessly clean, and truly had everything I could possibly need – it felt like a home away from home. The location is a real winner, with so many great restaurants, cozy cafes, and convenient markets just a short walk away. I especially appreciated the host's thoughtful suggestions for local spots to eat and get groceries; it really helped me settle in and explore the area like locals. And the views! Waking up to a lovely park view from the bedroom and enjoying the serene river view from the living room was a daily treat. On top of all that, our host was incredibly responsive and quickly answered any questions I had. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this gem!
