An amazing house, with a view and a formidable energy, super cozy with all the “near” waterfalls, restaurants and supermarket, I highly recommend, to come back for sure.

What a WONDERFUL stay at this charming farmhouse! From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The property is so beautiful with its lovely gardens, fruit trees & the view of the mountains. We spent the majority of our time, when we were not out exploring, enjoying the pool & having all our dinners outside under the covered outdoor grilling area. We took advantage of the grill & enjoying pizza (yes, there is a fabulous pizza oven!). The house was so comfortable, clean & the kitchen had everything we needed & more. Carlos & Christina are stunning hosts....so kind & friendly & gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area...restaurants, villages, waterfalls, etc. We CAN'T WAIT to return! Obrigada for a wonderful stay! (note - if you are driving be mindful as directly accessing the property can be tight if you have a larger car)

Accommodation with great conditions to receive 5 people. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated with a phenomenal view of the Cávado River. Well-equipped kitchen. We were able to prepare full meals without any problems. The location, right by the river, allows us to be surrounded by nature. The host's readiness to answer any questions or requests throughout the stay should be highlighted.

A great home to explore the Geres area and park. Beautiful view from the porch, convenient living room and a kitchen with everything you will need for a short or long stay. The bedrooms are spacious and linen comfortable. The house was spotless clean and Margarida was quick to respond to any question we had. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Geres area.

I had a phenomenal week in an empty village, the house was very nice and perfectly located to enjoy a couple of calm days in the nature. I fell in love with the place and sure will be back!

Fantastic property. House itself is immaculate, exactly as represented in the photos. However outdoor area is where to spend your time. Amazing pool area, outdoor kitchen / BBQ, massive table under pergola to laze the hot days away, and spend every evening cooking, eating and just having a good time. We survived the ‘great Spain and Portugal power outage’ while there, and it was probably our best night - BBQ, candles !. Max 15-20 minutes into Geres National Park for stellar hiking. Cannot recommend this property more 👍👍

The stay at the house was wonderful and unforgettable! The house is very special, large, comfortable and with everything very good taste!! Sounds like a movie. The view is spectacular, the pool and the entire leisure area in the river is very good. Communication with the host was very quiet. I highly recommend it!

Diogo and his father were fantastic hosts. We spent nearly 3 winter months at the property and loved it. Everything was perfect as described. The location is outstanding, immersed in nature....the best sunsets and sunrises i have ever seen. The house is well equipped, really comfy with a modern looking . We definitely recommend it and cannot wait to come back in summer.

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

100% recommended!! I loved the stay!! Jorge's place is fantastic. The location, with its direct access to the lake, is unbeatable. The house is made to enjoy as a family, the outdoor area is very nice and the bedrooms on the upper floors are very good. It is true that the bathrooms are somewhat old, but everything is very clean and each room has privacy with its own shower. The small pool is wonderful and allows you to create a unique setting. There is a terrace on each floor of the house, and amazing views from any of them. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, with all kinds of utensils and appliances. The beds are very comfortable and the relaxation is assured, absolute silence to sleep well and rest during the stay. We have enjoyed it very much, we will be back for sure!!

A beautiful spot in Portugal. The view, the surroundings, the grounds of the Quinta, the staff... everything just wonderful! We were very sad when we had to leave and will be back! Unfortunately it was very hot, but we still saw a lot by car and explored the area.

Beautiful accommodation, clean, well arranged, great swimming pool, quiet in the middle of the countryside and in the Portuguese tradition. Joao is a pleasant, helpful and attentive person despite the language barrier. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful region. This is an address to remember in the directory. 😊😊

Great place to stay with numerous families or groups! The house is spacious and the pool has good sun exposure!

The house is extremely pleasant, very spacious and comfortable, both indoors and outdoors. With a simple check-in, as described by the host. Parking space for several cars inside the property. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the necessary utensils to prepare meals and with many appliances available. When we arrived we found the house warm, as they had lit the fireplace a few hours earlier as we had requested, and with plenty of firewood available for the rest of the stay. Very comfortable rooms and spacious and functional bathrooms. Everything went very well, and we hope to return. I highly recommend it.

The stay at Leonor's place was great. The house is airosa and well equipped, in a very quiet place, matches the description. Having a nice private pool during the hot days of August, overlooking the sunset, was a great experience. Leonor and her husband are very considerate and helpful hosts. We spent very quiet days as a family at Leonor's house, I recommend!

For more than 10 years on Airbnb I have never seen such a kind and caring host! Isabel is very responsive to questions asked! The accommodation is in a peaceful location facing the mountains very close to Gères National Park. The swimming pool is a real plus! So there are beautiful walks and different activities nearby ( waterfall, quad biking, buggy, jet, pedal boat). I recommend it without hesitating! ☀️

What a great place. Bigger that I imagined, with beautiful view from the garden that was impecable. The swimming pool has a wonderful location facing the view and taking the sun all day which kept the water in a perfect temperature. I'll definitely come back!

We spent in family a wonderfull week. Our teenagers enjoyed the private swimming pool and the billard . The house is spacious and confortable, in a very calm résidence and surrounded by végétation. The owner Antonio was attentive, available and answer very quickly even WE could not meet him . Very nice place to discover the North of Portugal. A car ils recommanded because need 30mn riad to reach Braga.

We loved the stay. The space is very clean, organized, we have absolutely nothing missing. The entire space is private including the swimming pool. Mrs. Luísa is very friendly, helpful and attentive. No doubt an experience to repeat.
